Find the Fifty Films

All from the last 20 years, to narrow it down.

I'm on 38... can see the last dozen clues but am struggling.

GET ON WITH THE CEREMONY.

I got 35 pretty quickly. Yeah, I can see the clues, but can't put them to a movie. What exactly is cowering from the schoolgirls in the graveyard?

It's none too forgiving on the spelling, is it? Or leaving out "The" at the beginning.

Edit: Huzzah! Make that 41!

I'm stuck at 48. I've got nothing for the schoolgirls in the graveyard or the interracial male couple and their family.

I'll trade you the answer to the inter-racial male couple and their family for the answer to the two string instruments.

I'm disappointed that the schoolgirls isn't Ninja Cheerleaders. Yes, it's a real film. It had George Takei in it and everything.

Deal!
SPOILER! (select to read)
The instruments are lyres. The movie is "Liar Liar".
Proof that these clearly aren't the top movies of the last 20 years. :)
So what's up with the non-traditional family?

I managed to get them all after spending pretty much a day on it. Maddening but fun.

Doh.

This one is arguably one of the top movies of recent years.
SPOILER! (select to read)
The parents are men. The family are their kids. Which makes them the Children of Men

That one's really deceptive. I figured it out on accident.

"Weak" might be a better description. :)
50/50! I have to confess that I had a bit of an unfair advantage as most of them were American movies, and I am American. :) And for my troubles? The option to start again.
Fun stuff, though. Kind of a clever little flash program.

Hahaha! I got the Cheerleaders. That's both really clever and really ****ing annoying.

Now I've got two left that I can't even see. FRAK.

I would play but now I've had the image of George Takai dressed up as a cheerleader in my head I have to go scrub out my brain.

Just a guess, but look in the crow's mouth in the upper right corner. There's also two clues involved in that irksome family scene which gave me such trouble (but I'm guessing you saw that already).

I'd gotten that one. Found em now - got the green one in the bottom right that I'd previously missed. Now if I were only any cop at botany...

I was positive there was one there for the longest time, but couldn't find the right spot to click. Drove me nuts.
