I thought Bumblebee is mute in the movie. Why has he got a voice actor?

What happened to Keith David being Barricade or was that just a rumor?

Dunno. The info I posted comes from the movie program from the Australian premiere.

Also coming from the same post at Seibertron...

"Of note, there seems to be no Keith David as Barricade, and it is rumored that he is only appearing in the video game as a VA."

VA? Voice actor?

Robert Foxworth is a bloody good actor (probably most recognisable from his roles in B5 and especially as the dodgy Admiral who tried to take over Star Fleet in DS9), so I'm guessing either Ratchet will be geting the third biggest role after Prime and Megs or they're paying him lots of money.

Nice to see another G1 veteran and a Robin of Sherwood castmember in there as well.

SPOILER! (select to read)
Bumblebee has one line in the movie that I know of, after his legs are blown off Sam goes over to him and he opens his mouth and says, "GGGOOOO SSAAMMM".
Edited by Dalek to put spoiler tags on for those trying to avoid plot details, just in case.

Just use the QUOTE button on the post that has the spoiler. Or just insert the spoiler tags.

EDIT: too late, my bad.

IMDB still has the Arbiter listed as the voice of Barricade.

Names mean little to me except dear, dear Mr Cullen. Dit moi, are these good choices? OMG! What will Starscream sound like (that little test does not give a clear indication, except closer to Michael Dobson than Chris Latta).

Surely you've heard of Hugo Weaving. Elrond? V? Agent Smith? Blokey from Priscilla, Queen of the Desert?

Ratchet is being played by Brenda & Billy's dad in Six Feet Under.

But, most awesomely, Ironhide is Captain Hero off of Drawn Together.

These things and more keep the dream alive.

I'll accept that under the condition that Ironhide, at some point in the movie, runs off crying, flailing his hands and squealing all "girly" like, just as Captain Hero does.
