Tokyo Entertainment Market 2004 — pics of Robot Master, Galaxy Force & more!
An absolute slew of images captured by Tonkye of TF Image Board, who've given the fandom a lot of hot-off-the-press news recently.
I've mirrored the images with thumbnails here:

The photo set covers Beast Wars Returns (the Japanese release of Beast Machines), Binaltech, Galaxy Force and Robot Masters. All in all, it's being an excellent few years for Transformers fans, isn't it?

NOt really impressed at all with the new Megatron, definetly a skipper. Now what is the deal withe Cyclonus and Wheelie? Was Wheelie reissued in the box set of minicons? Also are we getting a Star Saber Victory Leo reissue? Why else would these toys be showcased? And could somebody explain this wall print? It reminds me of the collectors edition poster for the premium Japan reissues:

I've been considering getting some of the BM show cast. Some thoughts.
-Jetstorm and Rattrap I have, pass.
-Primal and Megatron I've wanted for a longer time.
-This version of Black Arachnia looks surprisingly good.
-Is that Silverbolt next to Black Arachnia?
-Too bad Takara didn't choose Night Slash Cheetor's mold and coloured it like Cheetah character.
-Still can't stomach Nightscream's and Noble Savage's molds.
I think Takara had a Movie section as part of their 'history of TFs' display.
For an idea of toy scale, here's some execs with prototypes:

Victory Leo etc. are coming as part of Robot Masters, IIRC.

Denyer you do realize that the RM Leo & Saber are totally different toys. Iam talking about the actual 1989 release pictured here:

Yeah—as far as I know, we're just getting the characters in RM form. Takara had an assortment of old moulds there as part of a separate display.Originally posted by Ultimate Weapon

That's poor exchange rates. They're about £7.50 (converting from 1500 yen) which is great value compared to the price of Energon basics in the UK.Originally posted by Ultimate Weapon
Are you really that fond of them? IMO I do have RM Prime Special repaint, but for what they are asking for so little there are better deals to be had.
