Gambit was the third Summers brother?

Was there ever anything more made of this suggestion? I've been out of the Marvel loop for quite a while; did this ever go anywhere?

Makes a certain amount of sense really, since Gambit was adopted (as was Scott), and all three have energy-based powers.

Don't think there was, mate.

Plus it's not just the fact that it's an energy power - it's a power that operates by converting one form of energy into another.

Could be Mr Sinister messing about as he wanted.

Mr Sinister is my favourte X-men villian BTW.Hasnt got to his potential but not crapifed like some others.

Nick picking Brend. Doesent Cyclops (Sunlight) and Havok (Cosmic raidiation) do the same thing to energy with their powers;)

Yup. Which was my point.
The link isn't just the fact that they have energy powers, but that they have energy conversion powers... read what I mean not what I say!

Hmm, I personally believe that Gambit's past is quite full enough, and another retcon could really be over-doing it...
