Best Racing Game Series Ever?

Yes. All these threads do in fact have some use...

I'd have to say Mario Kart on this one though. 8-Player Local WiFi Play on DS is awesome.

In addition to F-ZERO, I also like the WIPEOUT video game series as well.

I would have put more in there, but there is only 10 options you can put in.

Though you do have the option of only entering nine, before making the tenth "other".

Or speaking nicely to a member of staff who operates in the forum and hoping they're open to amending it on your behalf.

Damn it, you are right. If any mod feels like it, take out Nascar and replace it with other. Thanks before hand...

And Halfshell, by any chance did you vote Mario Kart?

MarioKart.

Though I;m sure the inevitable Official Lewis Hamilton F1 Game (starts off well but then screws up and leaves you crying like a baby) will sell like hot cakes.

Well, MarioKart's just the most fun isn't it. GT is great for its realism and all, but sometimes I feel like I should take a nightcourse in mechanics before trying to play the damn thing.

No Grand Prix 2/3/4? No Lego Racers? No GPL? No Sportscar GT? Do you actually know anything about racing games at all?

I do. And I know one thing. Except Lego Racers, all those games suck.

I'd be interested to know what 'sucks' about the GP series. Or GPL. I suspect it revolves around you being **** at them.

No, I'm decent. But they aren't my cup of tea.

They 'suck' because they aren't your 'cup of tea'?

I'm just wondering what someone who thinks realism 'isn't his cup of tea' is doing claiming he knows much about racing series, because the only 'problem' with the GP series and/or GPL is (beyond graphically being a little outdated, but if you're there for the graphics, just go out and race in a car) that they're a bit too realistic for the sort of wet-brained people who think you can replicate realistic driving games with a ****ing controller.

Hell no. That's not even what I think. Those series of games aren't my cup of tea. I love realistic racing games. I'm a huge fan of the Forza series, which replicates realism greatly for console games.

And I never said graphics matter. Didn't you just see me say I voted for Mario Kart?

I got out the old super nintendo at my parents house and played mario kart for a solid two hours last night, drunk as hell.

Good times.
