Alt Meister coming to the UK?

Post by Nevermore »

Ellis Models just semi-confirmed that Meister will be the next UK Alternators release following Swindle.

That would make the UK the second European country after Italy to get Meister.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Gone off the boil somewhat with that one by now... part of the problem with seeing so much product ahead of time is that nicer stuff appears or is expected to appear... I'm sure it affects actual sales...

Nah, Meister was suggested a while ago by Hasbro IIRC. I'm guessing Swindle and Meister for the next Argos catalogue. We may get Shockblast after that if Silverstreak didn't put them off.

Generally speaking, cars that have UK releases are far more likely.

Forbidden Planet is also supposed to be an import store, and yet they were the first to have Euro boxed Swindles.

They're definitely not just an import store. They stock music, magazines, books and toys that are available elsewhere in the UK.

"Highstreet" shops also get stock from a range of sources; we got the overstock from the US MOTU line, for instance. I have a feeling something similar may have happened with Swindle, with someone grabbing what was available at the time.
