Primus Half Price in TRU in UK

Post by tarikq »

Just to let people know that TRU are selling Cybertron Primus at half price. Makes the prices of the movie voyager toys look even more absurd!

What's the half price when converted to USD or euros?
Few stuff in the UK to trade/sell. Measly sales thread.

If you can get him for cheap, and you're on the fence, allow me to push you over to the "get it" side. He's a really awesome figure with good articulation and lots of fun things to play with.

I knew European prices were inflated, but not that much...even at half price he's still terribly expensive.

I'm getting a Unicron at the moment, will fork out for a Primus later this year. Macross planes are getting the best of my cash at the moment...

I think that "sale" price is the price that they originally were asking for, in the US . . .

Whoever determines these prices meeds to figure out that £ does not equal $ . . .

I saw this this morning. Jumped straight in my car, popped down to TRU and grabbed him. I'm so happy! Haven't opened him yet bizarrely. Think I might wait till tomorrow. Yes I know I'm mad!

The thing with the price in pounds is that it probably works out about the same for the US. IE it was originally £50 here like it was $50 in the states. OK so if you convert it it sounds crap but it's actually a very good price for us Brits. If you think a pound is probably worth what a dollar is worth to an American then he is sorta on sale for the equivalent of $25. Even though there's no point in the Yanks buying one and shipping him over.

Sweet. Been waiting for Primus to come down in price. Gotta sort the bills out first and then its a trip to TRU methinks. Nothing else out there atm seeing as I've just completed my TF Movie collection and Primus will go well next to my Unicron :D

I suggest emailing them. This could easily be a clerical error where it was meant to out of stock the regularly priced version.

Is he such fun that you've had to resort to typing his name into search engines on online toy stores already, then?

Doubt it. Far more likely that the cut price sale stock is all sold and it's back up to full price.
