I don't know if this has ever been brought up here, but on track 9, Hittman said "I make fools retreat like Megatron and Starscream!" I can't believe the Transformers were mentioned in a rap! Haha!

DMX says, "And when its on I transform like Optimus Prime", on his Its Dark and Hell is Hot CD.

One of the WuTang Clan says, "...Consume planets like Unicron, blastin photon bombs from the arm like Galvatron" in Imposible.

Also the Transforming Sound can be heard in the background of Ice Cube's "You can do it".

The Rascalz say, "Bring the don to Decepticons" in "Top of the World".

Rahzhel says, "Watch me Transform... Decepticons, raining on your college a**..." in "Make the Music 2000".

Warren G has a song called "Transformers" and the chorus is the same as the Transformes theme song, accept he says "Hustlers in Disguise", rather than "Robots in Disguise".

So Dre isn't the only rapper who gives Transformers a mention in one of his songs.

Also I remember there was a punk song, forget which one, or which band that had the line, "I remember a time when my favorite toy was Optimus Prime" in it.

I have "You can do it" by Ice Cube and I played it and never heard any transformation sound in the background. Maybe it was a remix you were talking about cause I have the original version of the song.

The song on Chronic 2001 where it has Hittman says "making fools retreat like Megatron and Starscream" is called "Light Speed" and is track #9. I never heard any of the other songs posted above.

wu tang clan, 's album -double cd- FOREVER
has a few songs mentioning transformers. one song i can think of is TRIUMPH

dmx has a song called GET AT ME DOG, which mentions optimus prime

I'm pretty sure its the original version. It happens the last time they do the chorus right after she says "You can do it put your a** in to it."

The group "Jedi Mind Tricks" also has tracks that make mention of the Transformers quite a bit. I'll have to get back to everyone on the song names.
