Have just re-watched this film , having been conned by Woolworths that it "was well worth it."
WE Johns must have been spinning in his grave when this was released.
It watches like bad fan-fiction thats been filmed. It's not even tongue in cheek enough to have redeeming value.
The villian rares a mask for god's sake
Plus he blows up Biggles with a grenade theres a huge explosion and he then wanders unscathed into the next shot there was zero dramatic tension. NO might he be dead thing.
Plus at the end in Papua New Guinea Given that they were missing in the present day shouldn't Biggles have been in his 80's at least.
They'd have been much better off sticking to their original plan of making an Indiana Jones type Boys own Adventure
