I would like to buy the G1 series, so what is the difference between
1)
the 25th Aniversary Edition from Shout Factory in 2009 (US and Canada)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Co ... =pd_ybh_18
2)
the More than meets the eye complete series from Shout Factory in 2011 (US and Canada)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Me ... =pd_ybh_25
3)
the Complete Series Deluxe Edition from Maverick in 2002 (Europe)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Co ... =pd_ybh_20
4)
the Transformers complete box set from Metrodome in 2006 (Europe)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Co ... f=pd_ybh_6
5)
the Rerelease of Metrodomes Seasons in 2009 (Europe)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transformers-Se ... =pd_ybh_10
in terms of completenes, video and audio quality and error corrections in cutting scenes?
The price is not interesting as a difference... and I guess the only difference between 1) and 2) is the mercendise / bonus from the 25th ani version?
what is the difference (cartoon releases)

Rhino's releases have sloppy, noticeable errors (as do the Chinese sets that copied them). Metrodome and Madman both have the added sound effects Rhino added, as far as I know [at least on the 5.1 track], and Maverick didn't get very far with their releases before going bust. There's an old comparison between Rhino and Maverick at http://kenshiroh.tripod.com/dvd/transformers_s1/ that illustrates some of them.
Shout Factory haven't fixed everything, but have tried to match to the broadcast material.
Given that there isn't a perfect set out there, and probably never will be, you may as well just get 2) and a copy of the movie. 1) apparently has some more scripts and some additional interview material, which I think is the Disc 16 contents given here;

Can anyone confirm that the other 15 discs are as per the four season sets Shout Factory released earlier [and that the difference is the sixteenth disc]? That tallies with what the wiki's saying.
