Request for input on volume two of The Ark (animation models)

I've got a 208 pagecount to
play with, and about 250 pages of material. All numbers are rough but
I've got:

About 80 pages of Headmaster material, including a good 24 or so pages
of bonus type material - things like ships, humans and aliens they
meet, exercise equipment, all kinds of cool stuff.

About 50 pages of Masterforce material. It's weighted heavily toward
pretenders and headmasters, but I've got designs for everybody,
including maybe 4-6 pages of non-toy humans and settings and bases and
whatnot.

Maybe 20 pages of Victory material, including 3 pages of bonus
material.

Around 12 or 15 pages spanning Zone through Operation Combination.

Nearly 40 pages of Studio Ox designs

About 35 pages from USA 1988 - comics and advertisements.

About 5 pages of things like production sketches.

About 10 pages of black & white Headmasters or studio ox artwork - not
really character designs at all but still interesting.

Maybe 5 or so pages from the USA 1984-1987 that I didn't have at the
time.

I also need 7 pages to cover things like the title page and index.

Any thoughts on what you'd like to see?

A bigger book by the sound of it.

Errr, the rarer and more visually interesting drawings for preference (though that's probably not much help).

I'm still faintly annoyed I spilt Cranberry juice on my copy of the first one...

I don't know how many people have actually seen Headmasters/Masterforce/Victory- even today with DVD sets everywhere. If I had to cut something though, I personally wouldn't mind seeing the 1988 US stuff go.

Studio OX MUST stay!! That stuff is incredible.

A lot of people don't seem to want it, on the basis it can be found in Japanese books:

http://www.allspark.com/forums/index.ph ... opic=40424

However, the book's already been promoted as including Studio Ox stuff:

http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Ark- ... 1600101801

"The first volume of The Ark focused on the animation models used for animating the Transformers cartoon, and now Jim Sorenson and William Forster turn their attention to Japanese character models, U.S. character models from beyond 1987, Studio Ox manga illustrations, and more."

I say just cut a page from each section, piss everyone off. They can always do a second print with the extra pages. A bit like they did with Best of Furman.

Seriously, and as much as I like the stuff, the manga images, because surely everyone's seen them by now? Though I struggle to see how they've managed to find 130 pages of genuinely worthwhile HM/MF models. But then I'm probably not the sort of Jafanboy uber-nerd this project's aimed at anyway...
