Time issues.

Post by RID Scourge »

The Ark crashed 4 million years ago, but the earth was supposed to be uninhabited, which is untrue because the earliest of hominids arrived tens of millions of years ago. Now, in the Beast Wars, there are early hominids. From the looks of these hominids, they date the beast Wars to at least 10 million years ago, which is impossible because it takes place after the crash of the Ark.

For those of you that don't know what a hominid is, it's an early human.

and for those of you that didnt pay attention in the first episode of beast wars, their transwarp engines buggered up, and sent them back to in time to somewhere in between when the ark crashed and when the g1 tf's awoke.

Uh, I think somebody was sipping out of the same flask that was passed around by the writers of TF:TM.

Who would have thought that the generation 1 children would grow up to be so critical of their childhood cartoon.

Watch a good anime if you want a story with a good timeline. I suggest Evangelion. Transformers was probably a middle budget cartoon just designed to entertain children and sell toys.

Actrually BW took place post ark crash making it within the last 4 million years.Hdnt actural humans only inhabit the earth 2 1/2 million years ago? Then BW fits in perfectrly. After all pree 5000 years ago humans were no different to animals in most ways.

Actually, they looked more like the early hominids with the more ape-like features. Which creates an anachronism. Even 2 1/2 million years ago, humans were starting to look more human, with less hair.

What did you expect, for the writers of Transformers and Beast Wars explain to the CHILD audience the whole process of human evolution while fitting in the trans, let's not forget please that this is a cartoon made for chidren who want to see cool robots that can transform shooting and killing themselves, the same features that captured us during our childhood and why we still like them,
so please stop making these stupid questions, if you start analyzing every minor fact we can go on forever!!!

well while we are on the subject of the humanids, if cheetor was teaching them all this shit, and they were able to grasp SPEAKING ENGLISH (ie. word association with objects, a majorly integral part of our language), youd think thaat their civilisation may have advanced slightly faster than what they really did.

and im also assuming that waspinator didnt teach them jack shit, cos those people looked far too ape-like to be able to advance to our form of society, government, etc. in the time it took us to change from their body forms to ours.
(in summary: waspinator would have made them smart, so theyd be smart cavemen by the time theyd learn how to help him get off the planet)

THEREFORE, waspinator either waited till JUSt before the ark's inhabitants awoke, to leave the planet, or used a crashed stasis-pod to escape (and id thought theyd all been destroyed in the transwarp explosion????????)
