Justice League animators have been watching Anime

So this saturday, just before I went to london for a Renisance fair, I sat around and watched Justice League because there was nothing better on.

The episode was "Legends Part 1" and at the begining I was startled to see the league fighting a giant robot! (not that them fighting a giant robot was anything special).

But here take a good look at the JLA fighting:

Have we seen a robot that looks like this before? only in Red and white, or maybe Blue and white, or 2 shades of purple?

I wonder if Shinji was the mysterious pilot?

it looks alot like a repainted unit 2. Don't have to worry about it going beserk, just Auska on a really bad day

Can't blame the JL animators for having lousy 'borrowing' taste

Seems like a mix of 2 EVA units to me:

4 Eyes: definatly EVA-02
Rest of bot: EVA-01

And it's a good thing they didn't borrow the S2 organ, or the JL would have had a problem.(A robot which can fully repair itself even if you tear it into 2000 pieces is always a problem)

And I doubt Shinji was the pilot. He would not be fighting the JL. He only fights those Angels because he hasn't got much choice. He'd wave the white flag right from the start(the writers'd probably give him a EVA sized white flag too

)

And as for the Asuka remark.
Who ever said Asuka, when fully enraged, is less destructive then a certain other female?(I'm trying not to spoil a certain plot twist)

I wonder if Gainax will sue the JL animators.

Not saying that at all. My opinion is that Auska was the most dangerous. Rei wasn't nearly as dangerous in an Eva as Auska was.

If you're refering to later plots with Rei, I don't think that is Rei anymore (esp if it's End of Eva).

Enough of a hint I think. Please PM me your guesses to avoid cluttering this thread up with that plot twist from the series/movies.

LOL, I was trying to find a pic of Unit 1 so I could put it up to compare for Blaster (yeah it does look like ultron a little, but trust me on the Eva if I ever get a good pic).

But all I could find is that one with it and the knife out streached, and it doesn't help

I'd have uploaded a 50 MB music video(Europe: final countdown) with the Evangelion units in them, but 50 MB is too much.

But wait a minute.....

BM: are you familiar with taking video files and extracting bmp's or something from them?

If so, simply download every NGE music video you can find(barring the one they based on the Hentai parody) and look for the correct footage to convert.
