There must be some mistake, £6.99, and it's due for release on the 30th of this month?
Wrong link or something?
Weird thing is, it doesnt show up when I do a search for Optimus on the gadget search bar.

I checked first. Ran it through the 'gadgets' search as Optimus Prime, and the engine brought up the 20th Anniversary figure. Sooo, I clicked on related items bar and, yes, this 30th Anniversary version appeared at £6.99. Checked again today, and there the little darling still sits. If it's a fraud, then Play.com are either in on it or unaware that their site has a plant.
Ah, well. We'll find out, as Brend says, in seven years.... :\

I'm sure this is not fraud, just a cock up!
It appears in their 'Coming Soon' section on a few pages. Think they would notice if someone had hacked their pages. They have probably got the anniversary confused with Star Wars 30th or something.
Play.com are in my good books today though as I have just taken delivery of a super cool Barricade tee shirt from them! Nice.

SO is this just a smaller version of 20th Anny Prime?
If you can keep your head when all around are loosing theirs...you probably haven’t grasped the situation!!

If it is I'll be happy enough. Somewhat doubt it though.

All's quiet on the Western Front. Nothing - not a peep - from Play.com, and they are usually pretty quick at updating customers if items are unavailable etc.
