Here's a look at the TRANSFORMERS line in 2002:

Military COMBINERS robots - Villains RO-TOR the helicopter, MOVOR the shuttle, ARMORHIDE the tank and ROLLBAR the all-terrain vehicle combine with deluxe flat-bed truck, MEGA-OCTANE, to form the RUINATION figure, an evil robot featured in the TV animated series. Firetruck OPTIMUS PRIME and car transport ULTRA MAGNUS are also offered, as well as a 2-pack of figures containing SCOURGE, the evil black truck, and X-BRAWN, the heroic SUV. OBSIDIAN, the helicopter is also new in this assortment.

ROBOTS IN DISGUISE DELUXE FIGURES

This assortment of figures contains many cool recognizable vehicles that change into robots: the Construction COMBINERS - Heroes WEDGE the bulldozer, GRIMLOCK the backhoe, HIGHTOWER the crane, and HEAVY LOAD the dump truck - combine to form LANDFILL the massive robot, just like on TV! MEGA OCTANE, the flat-bed truck that combines with the basic COMBINERS is also offered in this assortment. Also available are refreshed versions of PROWL, SIDEBURN and X-BRAWN figures. Those are the Beast Machines repaints they're making instead of Fort Max. I really would like to watch someone torture the guy whose brilliant idea it was to leave out that one key figure. Hasbro sucks!!!
