I bet the Third Party Cy-Kill manufacturers nevr expected their toy to become so redundant so quickly. Not completely sold on Leader One, but kinda like the bike despite being more straightforward.

Yeh, they're using the anime-influenced models from Revenge of Cronos, which means they're a bit beefier. Very interested assuming the price is decent, would be hoping for Deluxe-sized max before the designs would get overstretched.

Nudge nudge wink wink choices there, mind - Eagle Robo (Leader-1) especially was a nobody in Japan and would be a random release among a first half-dozen figures unless they had half an eye on Gobots fans...

These look nice. Unfortunately my girlfriend would probably leave me if I started yet another collection. ;)

Reckon I'll have to stick to making my own Kreon Gobot homages, and gazing lovingly at these babies on t'internet.

Dunno, much prefer Salmoore to that Cy-kill design personally.

Leader 1 is possibly of interest but hopefully larger and colour pics won't be far behind.

Really like the anime aesthetic. I could be very tempted by some if they were small-ish and reasonably priced.

It's good that they've differentiated from the blockier Transformers aesthetic. Because of this I don't think the 3rd party Cy-kill is redundant, if you want him standing with your Transformers IDW-stylee.

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Leader-1 looks mighty nice.

And I would have commented on the seemingly odd choice of the drill-head robot if I hadn't have just spent 40 minutes reading about Revenge of Cronos on Cliffy's site... now I want a Monstrous again...

Yeh, from perspective "Fitor" and "Screwhead" make the most sense. "Cy-Kill" and "Tank" have a fair place in a first wave for being the first two figures; "Leader-1" and "Turbo" shows that someone there's watched Gobots.

From the whole Machine Robo range Leader-1 is really an astonishingly bad choice for Guardian leader in terms of design, quality, etc. Turbo really would have been a much better choice. Not that giving the guy a special skill of a forcefield he could hide behind gave him much of a chance.

Nice. I would have gotten a Cy-Kill or Leader-1 since I had both as a kid, but I don't think I could bring myself to shell out $40-50 USD each for these.

They look really great. Other than Kapow, is anyone else selling them in UK?

Looks can be deceiving. I had the first four and sold them all on pretty quickly. The tank one was ok but the rest were pretty ropey: unnecessarily fiddly, floppy and cheap-feeling. The wings on Leader-1's legs project below his feet, making it hard for him to stand. You only need to look at Cy-Kill's shoulders for the wheels to fall off. I'd strongly advise watching video reviews of these guys first before spending your cash.

Am prepared to put in a good word for Leader-1 / Eagle Robo as it's impressive how it packs down into alt mode -- only bit I'm less keen on is the head sculpt.
