Hooray! Another Optimus Prime! Well, at least there'll probably be a repaint in Scourge's colors, so I finally get my Alternators Scourge. Not so enamored with the shoulders, though. Guess they're trying to go with the Laser image, but it doesn't look as good.

I'm going to wait to see some better pics with a closer-to-final paintjob before I make any negative judgements. I'd much rather see Ironhide that Prime though.

I'm not the only person that was reminded of that! Woot!

I think the red could use a little subduing, but it otherwise makes sense to me - particularly for an affordable Optimus Prime figure. I would also suspect either an Ultra Magnus or Scouge (maybe both) repaint/remold of them, which wouldn't bother me if done right.

They need to cut off the front end of the truck. I don't want the shoulders in robot mode to poke my eyes out!

Not to mention Motormaster. Looks like the legs have zero articulation.

WTF?

Man...we get articulated toys like Prowl and Skids, and then switch back to something like this?

Is it official that he'll be an alternator? Hope he's not a binaltech.

too bad, especally cuz alot of people look at the masterpiece/20th anniv. as alt/binaltechs anyway. so we kinda had a prime already. well those that bought it anyway......

Thats the first thing that struck me, looks like they've not strayed much from " seperate back end of vehichle and flick down toes" seen in G1 prime.

Edit: though at least G1 prime had knees.

Okay, if his waist somehow rotates and the legs extend, giving him thighs, then he's somehow decent. I like the fact that you can store things on the back of his vehicle mode :D

I bet he'll be ok. The first pictures are always the worst.

That's actually the same reason I want one of those 20th anniversary Masterpiece trailers. Not in the budget, though.

Damnit, they should do him in Motormouth colours instead. Motormouth's way more popular than some Prime guy.

I'm surprised no one has complained about him not being a semi truck yet.
