So... according to the Katakana, he's supposed to be a Junkion named Detritus.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Wow.... that's not Hauler bad, but it is pretty ****ing ugly. Someone should blow e-Hobby up or something.

Good idea, not-so-good execution.

I'll still get it 'cause I'm insane... ;)

I actually like it. The robot mode could be better, but the vehicle mode actually looks pretty good. It's certainly better than many of the previous e-Hobby exclusives, anyway.

I'm still not spending money on it, though.

I could be wrong, but it looks like it costs 3,150 yen. Isn't that cheap for an e-Hobby exclusive?

The darker brown looks a bit to shiny for my tastes. Probably would've looked better in a desert camoflauge motif. Bet Mr. Optimus Prime would've bought one like that. ;)

I think it looks like a pretty cool desert tan repaint. And for 3150 yen, thats pretty good considering from http://www.xe.com the conversion is to 28.5162 or $28.52. Too bad the shipping would be a killer most likely around $30

This might be a few days old, but eHobby have updated the character page:
e-HOBBY Exclusive Hound Desert Type
"Junkion Mercenary Detritus"

Accompanied by the reissued Hound,
a new character "Detritus" is now born as a Collector's Edition!

Detritus, who is a mercenary of Junkion, can belong to either of both armies accoreding to a deal. Since both armies' emblem seals are attached, you can choose whichever you would like.

This item is transformed from a desert type of 4WD vehicle to a robot! With a character card on which the background of Detritus is written. This e-HOBBY Exclusive Version will be specially packed in a Destron Box!

Junkion Mercenary Detritus

Phasedisrupter, Armer-piercing rocket ammunition, Beam machine-gun
Physical capacity 6
Intellectual ability 9

Total 59

According to the cosmic battle legend, Detritus would appear from nowhere to the big battle field, and an armed camp that could enlist him as a supporter would win the battle without fail.

But the truth is, he just takes advantage of his own distinguished abilities to collect information and to analyze it, and just takes the side of the armed camp that he judged it could generate more useful junks in larger quantities.

He has an excellent fighting power and he can regenerate himself almost like immortal, mending his damaged body with detritus at hand. Actually, his present body is made out of the parts of detritus getting from the battle field of the Earth.

He is a marverick outsider who abandoned his home planet "Junkion", and he is aiming at building his own junk empire some day.

Well.. even thought this character may support both factions... It seems as if Detritus is more of a Decepticon.. especially if it is packaged in a Destron box.. and takes the side of whoever is winning.. Sort of sounds like Sideways..
