Concerning Energon Prime...

So, what is the deal with Fatimus's face? Do some of them have a mouth while others don't? I bought the first one I saw, and the mouth looks so dumb! I wish I had gotten a regular faceplate.

I don't know, but it looks as though the Energon cartoon is going with the faceplate version. Personally, I think the other version of the face looks terrible. The figure itself is ugly enough but the version with the mouth looks hideous IMO.

The mouth one was just for the first run I think. Supposedly, the ones with the faceplate have a code stamped on the back of the box and that's how you can tell them apart, but I just got one with no code on the box that has a faceplate so I don't know.

hasbro said some of the ones without the code had a faceplate

but the only sure-fire way to tell if it is not gonna have a mouth is to check for the code

or you could avoid being stupid and buying the Energon Prime and import Grand Convoy!

Since when is buying from hasbro 'stupid'? To me, importing a figure available in America is a waste of money.

You read a little to much into what i said Killthekids.

i love hasbro, but i REALLY, REALLY hate E Prime

they ****ed it up, in my eyes its a homage to Super Jinrai and Optimus Prime, and the Pale blued on the head and legs it just, IMHO, ugly

plus OP4 looks Emensly better on the Jap version

anyway, i almost always stick by hasbro but the way they ****ed up E Prime has given me a bias aganst it, but not hasbro

i would take E Starscream over SL NightScream anyday of the week

Well, that may be true, but for now, that's the only way you're going to get the Energon redecos of Demolisher and Cyclonus.

The blue on Starscream is grey on Nightscream, making him look like the original Starscream.

Didn't Hasbro say in the Q&A awhile back that they plan on releasing both of them?
