[BW,BM] Hows the matrix here when its destroyed?

In the original series the matrix of leadership was destroyed when OP gave it up to destroy the hate virus or whatever. So how is it still in this series? Was it cloned when Primal touched Prime in Beast Wars? He couldn't have completely taken it because then when the ark was awoken Prime wouldn't have had his matrix. The matrix contains all the leadership sparks from all the great heroes right? Well how can you clone souls if thats what happened? Or is there time hopping going on? Im totally lost it could help if i watched all the series but ive only seen bits/pieces of all the series and im not sure what actually counts in the official cannon.

At the end of the G1 series, the matrix wasn't destroyed... it was used... and all that happened was the knowledge inside it was shared around the universe...

BW takes place in the past, and so prime had the matrix, and Primal looked after the spark inside for an episode, then gave it back....

But i thought it made him go into his new form, where hes bigger and everything. And whatever happened to the Vok or whatever race created Airrazor?

In Beast wars episode 'The Probe' Tigatron states "by the matrix..." and some assumed this was reference to the G1 matrix, like the Predacon Inferno/Pit it was referencing the afterlife, in this case heaven, wheras the Inferno/pit is hell.

The G1 creation matrix/matrix of leadership is just a doorway to transformer heaven. In G1 it can give Autobots spiritual influence or in Hot Rods case bolster his power but he was the chosen one. (though in war within the same thing happened to Optimus)

Rhinox is able to access the Matrix in Coming of the Fuzors to locate Optimus Primal and restore him to life, and in Beast machines the Maximals are given a power up by the matrix to fight the Vehicons.

in 'Optimal Situation' we see a different Matrix to that in the G1 cartoon, its not crystals, its a spark (A Transformer soul, a energy being inhabiting the armor) which has ties to, and can access the matrix.

As for optimus Primals transformation into Optimal Optimus it wasnt like Hot rod becoming Rodimus it was the matrix making him stronger to contain and protect it.

Also Airazor wasnt created by the Vok she was originated as a protoform, which was one the verge of death and rescued by circuit donations from Cheetor, and near sacrifice from Rhinox. Later on she and another crashed Maximal Tigatron were abducted by the Vok and later returned to the beast wars as a alien vessal Tigerhawk. Airazor and tigatron merged their sparks into a new one and took over Tigerhawks body after the Voks were killed.

Not quite. That was Prime's spark merging with Primal's spark. It wasn't the Matrix. The casing of the spark just happened to look like it.

Well, in the Japanese continuity several Matrixes of Leadership exist at once. The Matrix is just a gateway to Vector Sigma which in turn is a gateway to the Matrix Zone.
