Scroll.

Seriously tho, I love what I can see of this person's bedroom ceiling.

Edit: Not related, but what the hell. I have the topic up.

This is going to be interesting. Comet landing livestream, going now but the main event will be tomorrow (10-ish hours). http://new.livestream.com/esa/cometlanding

Someone is, for sure. But I ain't judging, I'm just sharing... I imagine this is what our personal spaces must look like to people not into collecting plastic.

Beyond the curiousity (and the disco balls), look at that mood lighting. Seriously. Someone knew what they were doing. I can only applaud that.

Don't forget the New Horizons probe! Little Buddy wakes (again) from hibernation next month, and should be approaching Pluto by Julyish... So ****ing cool.

“New Horizons is healthy and cruising quietly through deep space, nearly 3 billion miles [4.8 billion kilometers] from home, but its rest is nearly over," Alice Bowman, New Horizons mission operations manager at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, said in a statement. "It’s time for New Horizons to wake up, get to work and start making history."
3 billion miles. JUST THAT is amazing.

Scrolling through the pics, the priorities of showing that house appear to be: exterior shot, Predator statue, band separating flooring types, rest of house.

That house is pretty nice, but it looks like you have to go outside to reach the upper level. At least, they didn't show any interior stairs, and I didn't see them on the floor plan. That would be a pain in inclement weather.

I could be wrong but I get the feeling from looking at it that the top room was added... like maybe there was little to nothing there before until it was renovated. Either that, or they gutted it for their disco ball room and for some strange reason decided the exterior stairs were a better choice than interior stairs/the stairs were there and it was decided it was easier to leave them than build new stairs.

I think there needs to be a hole cut in the corner and a rope ladder/fireman's pole installed in there. That would just complete everything.

Edit: I like sharing. This is unrelated (which should be unsurprising by now) but fascinating:

That is a very odd attempt to sell a house. I presume that's what's happening here? If they're just showing off the AVP collection, I'm missing some kind of metaphor with the floor panneling.

Presumably he remains fully neutral in the Predator/Alien conflict, but whoever looses, he keeps their gold and makes it hard for their descendants to claim it back.

And the real life space stuff is awesome and mindblowing in every way.

Yeah, looks like it's being sold. And I assume it's to show the difference in lino... though I'm not sure why as it wasn't done elsewhere?

Rounding out the deviation from topic: Cephalopods! specifically Ammonites/Nautiloids/Octopuses. I'm mildly obsessed right now. Don't buy Nautilus shells. http://www.bhigr.com/pages/info/info_ammo.htm

I love octopussesipods! They're really smart and have loads of bizarre abilities. When we're all dead and gone, they can join ants, dolphins and robots on the list of future earth civilisations.

And Cockroaches. Ants will not make it though, I would have eradicated them all by then.
