Unlikely friendships

Imagine for a moment if the war between the Autobots and Decepticons has come for to the end once and for all, everyones living in relative harmony back on Cybertron. Who would be friends?

I reckon Perceptor and Shockwave would be friendly seeing as they are both highly logical, who else would become friends during this time?

Ultra Magnus=Sixshot?
Deadend=Huffer?

according to the cartoon, all the primitives resided peacefully on Dinobot island for a time. So I imagine that all hostilities were "left at the door" when any primitive chose to reside on the island.
as for specific friendships,
Soundwave and Blaster.
Ultra Magnus and Cyclonus (both were honorable warriors, just on opposing sides)
and to re-iterate previous thoughts, I would def. agree with Hoist/Grapple and the Constructicons. You could even throw Omega Supreme somewhere in that mix....
for sure, the aerialbots and the seekers. just imagine how much fun they could have together!
Blitzwing and HotRod.
Perceptor and Shockwave also make a good pair as previously stated.
Even Prime and Galvatron managed to put aside their hostilities during the Hate Plague. If that could happen, then anything is possible in this universe (or theirs).

Also, consider the fact that both factions utterly despise the Quintessons. That adjoining motive is bigger than any petty differences either faction might have against each other.

I don't reckon Omega Supreme could get along with the constructicons, they did destroy the crystal city and try to alter his mind to fight for Megatron. Maybe he could forgive them if they rebuilt it?

I don't see Soundwave and Blaster getting along. Sure, they have similar alt. modes and both have cassettes but that's as far as it goes. Soundwave is a cold analyst, Blaster is fun-loving (at least cartoon wise).

Ultra Magnus and Cyclonus is a good pairing. Killing Jar showed that Cyclonus respected Magnus, and I remember something similat happening in Surprise Party too (a ****ty episode, I just remember that being the only good part of it.)

In UK comics I saw a lot of respect both ways by the Wreckers and the (original) Mayhem attack squad. I see they could easily put hostilites aside and grab a pint of energon together if there would be peace.

I could see Omega Supreme frogive the Consturticons since if there was piece between the bots and cons megatron would probley reveres that robosmacher thingy or whhat ever its called
Soundwave wouldn't like blaster because Blasters a bootleg version of him, but I think SW would get allong with pretty much everybody but Blaster

Nah, Soundwave can read minds, which makes him quiet a hard person to be friends with, seeing as he would know if you were tightening the nuts on his fembot! But again I've always wondered about Soundwave, reckoned he was a little too fond of Megatron!

Well then you wouldn't be his friend now would you? For him to really be friends with somebody then they would have to be comfortable with him able to read minds. A real friend wouldn't have any secrets that he would need to hide.

Well a was refering to the cartoon Soundwave more so. I kinda follow the father figure( to the cassites) very loyal, atypical decpticon theroy. He never realy blackmailed any one in the show.

I can kinda see Blaster trying his darndest to be all friendly with Soundwave, in a traditional dumb sidekick kinda way...

Blaster: "Yo dude, what's hangin'?"

Soundwave: "Get. Away. From. Me. You. Big. Weirdo."

Blaster: "You love me..."

Soundwave: "Aaaarrrggghh."

And I figured Shockwave would be kinda pally with Prowl; after all, they did 'team up' (so to speak) in War Within: Dark Ages, and their modus operandi is somewhat similar.
