Why does everybody here hate these two guys. Everytime they are mentioned everyone attacks them. WHY?

Megatron is awesome. I can't get enough of the guy. He's a far, far better leader than Galavtron could ever hope to be. And his alt mode is better. Just because his head looks funny, you all insult him. That's prejudice that is. (kidding about the prejudice bit). Nah seriously, I prefer Megatron to Galvatron because he's a better leader, less psycho, and had a less irritating voice. Oh, and he wasn't in Carnage in C Minor.

Wheelie, on the other hand, should be killed by Unicron's red mist in super slow-motion so it hurts longer. Little punk. I blame him for making the Dinobots stupid in the Movie. I mean, if Grimlock had just stood on him, things would be a lot better.

That's only because there were many more Decepticons than Autobots. If they had been on equal terms, the Decepticons would not have conquered Cybertron.

Also, where does it say that Megatron conquered Cybertron? The decepticons seemed to have a firm grip on Cybertron since the beginning of the series. For all we know it could have been another Decepticon that was never mentioned in the series.

This was discussed not to long ago.

Megatron conqured Cybertron? Well, it did say the Decepticons had taken the planet, but was it really that big a deal? Was it something to sing praises to Megatron for? Let's examine. In addition to Megatron's own troops on earth, he has Shockwave and his various machines to back him up, as well as some a few extra Decepticons stationed on Cybertron, such as the Pyramid ships seen in "The Ultimate Doom".

The autobots have: Alpha Trion and the Female Autobots. Alpha Trion merged with the megacomputer Vector Sigma, and I doubt he posed much of a threat to Megatron's forces as a voice inside a giant disco ball. And the female autobots are stereotypical helpless femmes who depend on him. About half of the episode "The search for Alpha Trion" was spent watching the dumb mistakes of the female autobots, the other half was spent watching the Decepticons wipe the floor with them (and a tiny fraction of the episode actually dealt with Optimus Prime searching for Alpha Trion.)

So, Megatron discovers Alpha is inside the megacomputer, and sends a bunch of Decepticons back over the Space Bridge, and they easily slaughter the Female Autobots, and turn them into scrap metal. And Alpha Trion was defeated by simply ignoring him whenever he talked.

Wow, yeah, it took great military genuis to conquer the planet. Come on, Skywarp could have done the same job with a massive headwound and 4 alarm energon hangover.

Remember something: Megatron is called "Mighty Megatron" not brilliant, wise, sage-like, or any other name that would imply he has intelligence, because he is a dumbass brute who's sole contribution to his side is a big gun.

It's a joke that he takes all of 5 seconds mulling over. I feel bad for you, being thrown by a joke that is moderately juvenile at best.

But I won't tell any jokes, so you can listen to me. Megatron is a total moron. Just how many of his "brilliant" plans included the following step "Cross fingers, sit on hands, and just hope everything goes our way instead of actually doing something to insure it turns out a success for us."?

Like in "The Ultimate Doom" The Decepticons are poised to take advantage of the autobots, who have been rendered helpless by energy waves that Soundwave is generating. Megatron proceeds to clobber Starscream, rejecting his foolish plan of "kill the autobots while we have the advantage and they can't fight back", for Megatron's own brilliant plan of "let the autobots go and ignore them, so they can come back and screw up my plans later", which they did, blowing up his spaceship and destroying all the energon he collected.

Or "Cosmic Rust", where Megatron could have cooked the autobots out of existence with his heat ray, but decides to let them rust apart instead, hoping they collapse into oxidized slag before they can come up with a way to save themselves. Rumble picked up on that, and let's face it, Rumble is not a military tactician, he's a grunt (which is not an insult to him, Rumble was my second favorite character.)

Megatron is king of the dumbasses, and is so stupid and unreliable, I personally wouldn't even keep him around as a disinformation source.

Hey Sheba, do you still have that running count on the number of times Starscream pointed out Megatron's errors? There's too many to remember off the top of my head.

Well, thank you for the compliment, but he's got me beat--Shockwave, the Quints...I nearly die laughing even now. I wouldn't fault him completely for one dick joke. And mind you there were two people involved in this discussion about Megs.

Megatron suffered from the Cobra commander syndrome. You can't just shoot the other side, you have to go for an insanely complicated plan. first thing Galvatron did was nuke Screamer. Clever chap. Whereas Magtron kept the back-stabbing twerp alongside him. D'oh indeed. Then you've got Megatron's stupidest plan. Instead of blowing up those moons laden with ahrdcore ordinace surrounding cybertron, he'll go and wreck autobot city, whihc has all the strategic advantage of a dartboard. Fool.

I think Megatron was a far more respectable leader than the mental case called Galvatron, what's the use of using all of your strenght and failing time over time. It's like hitting a brick wall with your head and after 3 times you don't learn and keep at it. On the other hand Megatron tried different things at least and with one of his schemes he almoste had all the autobots destroyed, remember Megatron's master plan?
As for Wheelie, I don't remember him that well and I'll give him the benefit of doubt.
