Yesterday I read the post on the guys attempt to steal the contents of Savannahtrons truck...

and just now my ex fiancée calls me from Boston that she was robbed yesterday...
She went to work and ran into a bum-like dressed fellow on the stairs of the apartment house, but think not much much of it.

She got a call from house security in the afternoon that her door was broken open.

Aside from her digital camera and the laptop that is missing, now the bad part:

All of her jewlery is gone... everything she ever owned.... all she got from her mother, grandmother, and from me during our 5 years including the engagement ring.
If it only were the money, it would be somthing to get angry about, but I still know about the stuff we bought together and the memories to it... that is the part that made her and me cry.

I know now how you felt, Savannahtron, and if I wouldn't be 6000km away from her, I wish I had cought him in her apartment...

Sad state of affairs when people keep getting broken in to. (another good reason that I live on the 3rd floor and building security is good). I'd be really devistated if I was burgled.

That sucks. Especially the things with sentimental value.
