I was bought a copy of the first issue and ... *gulp* really enjoyed it, despite some of the perspectives.

Second issue looks pretty meaty too.

Without meaning to toot my own horn -- but I'm pretty damn good at identifying Transformers, yet I have no idea who the guy in the second pic is. Anyone got any ideas? Oh, and artist's interpretation doesn't cut it with me; how difficult would it have been to use the bloody IDW designs? It's part of their bloody continuity too for crying out loud.

I almost said Twin Twist (which makes no sense), but just assumed i'd forgotten someone obvious and kept it zipped. Generic who gets killed by the Falcon on page 17?

There is supposed to be a "new" character who'll be getting his own spotlight. Hopefully the artist will now have gotten the hang of drawing TF's so thye don't have Jimmy Hill chins.

Similar but a bit different looking. If it were him the colours are a bit off.

This looks... interesting. May have to pick it up.

Well the only Decepticon that it remotely looks like is Darkwing, which would be a tad odd, and furthermore, wouldn’t be the new character set to make his IDW-verse debut -- if anyone who's still reading this can shed some light on the subject, dial...

Looking at it, it does look a fair bit like the toy version, which would make sense as the chap has probably never read an IDW comic, let alone seen the IDW designs. :)
