'08 Bumblebee Movie Toy

Post by Peale »

Is this exclusive to anywhere? Just so I can narrow my search. I know there is a 67/08 Target exclusive, but didn't know if the 08 by itself was exclusive.

Answering my own question.

Not designated as an exclusive like other figures, so I'm assuming it's just extremely HTF.

It's only been released very recetly. I'd say give it a few days, and it'll probably be more common, as more places get it and put it out.

*Peale Paces*

I went for a drive today. Visited three different Wal-Marts and two Targets. Nothing yet.

Did p/u a few Bumblebee/Barricade exclusive sets to toss on eBay.

edit: where are you located? I've been tracking whereabouts these things are popping up on eBay. Looks like if I'm willing to drive a few hundred miles I could pick one up, but I'd spend big $$$ on gas.

Guess I'll just wait and play it by ear.

I'm about 1000km east of him and I got '08 BB yesterday. But I only saw him at 1 store. But they has about half a dozen. Arcee and Dreadwind (aka the rest of his wave). But I couldn't find any BB/Barricade two packs.

I still haven't seen any of the new wave in stores yet. The only thing I've seen recently thats different than what I always see is the FAB Frenzy, Megatron, and Blackout.

I also saw one Arcee and one Dreadwing as well, and we still have a bunch of the two packs.

I just bought the '08 Bumblebee for an extortionate amount on eBay.

On the grounds that I'm not willing to wait for a UK release that may never happen, and I don't want to then have to pay an even more extortionate price for it a few months down the line.

It's called Swerve Syndrome.
Though it will obviously now have an exciting new production run crop up and be abundant in supply (The "Battle Unicorn Effect").

Pre-ordered mine from BBTS way back, on the first day they listed him. I'm glad I did now, this figure is waaay sought after, much more than I expected.
Few stuff in the UK to trade/sell. Measly sales thread.

Hopefully, I'll be able to find him, the next time I'm at Walmart, or somewheres . . .
