Best Gestalt
Best Gestalt
My favorite's Bruticus. He's just a great mold. He's sturdy (unlike Superion & Devastator) and he looks badass. He's also been remade more than any of the others and I'd love to have a collection of all the versions of the Bruticus mold.

I dunno, I kind of like the RiD gestalts. Rail Racer and Landfill.
Rail Racer because he's really poseable and looks great, and Landfill because he's just cool, and if you you Heavyload and Hightower as his legs, and extned them out a bit, he even has knees!
If we're talking about G1 gestalts though, I'd have to say Devastator, just because he's the only one I ever had, plus he goes together in an interesting way. Only had the G2 version though...
In fact, I still have parts of him...

Having never owned any, I'm not in any position to make an accurate comparison. However, I would love to own Computron. I think he looks hella cool. Defensor would be my second choice.

I found God. Then I lost him. He'll probably turn up down the back of the sofa someday.

"I'm not oppressing you Stan, but you haven't got a womb. Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?"
Mine's an odd one, but I have to say I REALLY like Abominus. He's the most poseable of all the G1 gestalts, going as far as having both knee joints and hip joints that allow the legs to kick out in all directions. None of the other G1 gestalts come close to that kind of articulation.
For looks, I really like Computron.

I like the RID Bruticus, because all the individual weapons combine to make super weapons. Add to that the cannons on Blast Off and Vortex, the cannons on his back and Brawl's turret gun (if it could pivot out from his leg), the guy has more firepower than any other gestalt.
As far as looks go, I'd say it's a toss up between Bruticus and Superion.

Optimus Prime is not a damn dirty ape and Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream are not "Destrongers" or "Predacons" they are DECEPTICONS and may any who say otherwise burn in the fiery pits beneath Cybertron where wicked Transformers are melted down into slag." - OldSchool80sKid

out of the ones i own (landfill, rail racer, ruination, defensor, and a ko superion and devestator) i would have to say that rail racer takes it hands down, but it might have to do more with the fact that i like the idea of three bigger robots better than 5 smaller robots for when i don't want them in gestalt mode. quick question though, would metroplex with any of the guys on him count? If so i would vote for him with the protectobots.
