Is this repaint another version of Ironhide ( like nightwatch Op ), or is he a new character ( maybe Skids)?

Since Hasbro haven't officially announced the toy yet, and we haven't seen any packaging shots yet either, your guess is as good as ours.

*sigh* You know, I don't mind the metallic blue so much, but that light blue for his joints and missiles is really irritating! Curse you All-Spark power!

...Ahem.

Anyway, I hope he's a different character. The only redeco they should do of Ironhide is a red and silver one.

The G1 deco Starscream has a pic of him in the "also available" section, and he's just called Ironhide. At least, I'm assuming it's him. The blue and black are a little hard to tell apart in some shots, but the yellow on the legs is pretty clear.

I have this massive urge to do play with pose and display Skids now. Is he the best Autobot car, or what? The answer, of course, is "Yes".

Aye. I'm planning on renaming the repaints I get (unless Hasbro does it for me). Recon Barricade is going to be Streetwise (with partner, Groove) who's undercover, within the decepticons, Rescue Ratchet is going to be First Aid (if I get him), Night Watch Prime is Magnus (once again, if I get him), and I'd probably call this guy some other name, if I get him. Maybe Trailbreaker. I'd like to see another Trailbreaker.

I know I'm definitely getting Recon Barricade (got him on order) and Thundercracker (all ready renamed, so I don't have to).

Nah, it's just a bit of a shame they didn't use the opportunity (seeing as they have the ersatz trademark) to give the character a bit of a wider audience, paving the way for him being the star of Animated and the second film (which should will be about him and Charlene [played by Reese Witherspoon, with Scorponok as Ravage]).
