Tonight they buried Stone Cold. Officially now, addressed in all seriousness by Vince McMahon, Stone Cold is 'dead' for lack of a better term. Brock Lesnar and RVD moved on in KOTR, which means I picked wrong; my new pick is Lesnar.
It appears Golddust may be going face; he got the hell beat out of him by the NWO after Booker's match.
Guerrero will face Flair at KOTR.
Oh...and Rock returned.
Now say what you will about the People's Champ, but he made very strong points about the business in a rant clearly directed in part to Austin. "Everyone who is here wants to be here...They do it because they love it." He also demanded anyone who didn't want to do it oughta get right the hell out. When Rock stops referring to himself in the third person, it is a good bet so say he is stepping OOC. He was fired up as hell, though, and I'm impressed with what he had to say. He might not be the best wrestler, and I know most of us don't like him, but he is probably the most charismatic superstar this side of HBK, and I found his comments were very well said and obviously well thought-out.
And they finally showed Benoit's new video and theme...quite glad to see that, he's so the man and that song kicks ass.

I found God. Then I lost him. He'll probably turn up down the back of the sofa someday.
"The early bird gets the worm, but the early worm is ****ed."
"I'm not oppressing you Stan, but you haven't got a womb. Where's the fetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?"
I admit that I was somewhat lukewarm toward the People's Champion, but I thought he gave a very passionate speech on Raw last night, and he lifted my opinion of him. He may not be the most talented wrestlers out there, but he is a good trooper, who doesn't mind jobbing to anyone if he were asked to do so. The Rock, I think, made other WWE wrestlers pause in considering their loyalty to the company. It's time to move on without Stone Cold, and frankly (to quote DDP) that's not a bad thing, but a good thing.
