Just saw it!
This game is looking nice!!! I'd still like to see an old school 2-d pc version come out but with better graphics.

It looks like a very cool concept - i'm sure that I wouldn't be the only one here to buy a copy. However, a sideways scrolling Transformers platform game has been done before - does anyone remember the Commadore 64/Spectrum game where you had to collect energon cubes?
What DOES really make me moist is the idea of a Transormer's beat-em-up that is discussed on the site. How cool would such a Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter based game be? Galvatron Wins.....Fatality!
Oh and Claypool - I know the fast food is likely to have been good, but think of it - you could have had a Gameboy Advanve in your hands with which to play this game if it ever comes out. Think about it son.

This has been my way of doing things. I never waste my time talking.

That's what I said in another topic about a TF game, but then how would they make use of the transforming ability? Like these guys said on their site, it would be stupid to have Optimus transform into a lorry and just run his opponents over. And without using the transforming factor, it wouldn't really set itself apart from any other fighting game on the market, other than having the novelty value of being able to beat Warpath to death and stuff.Originally posted by Robot_Train_Leg_Joe

Look, I started a little debate with you, are you proud? This is how it all starts, you post a reply to something, then you check back to see if anyone has responded to you, and while you check to see if anyone has responded you find another topic you are interested in and get involved with that etc, until you eventually spend more time here than I do. They own your ass now.
He was in a boy band!
Have any of you seen the x-box game where you are a robot (mech thing) that can transform into a plane - its a 3rd person perspective shooter. Thats how a tranfromermers game should look.
But this gba thing looks really cool as since i have agba it would rock. a fighter would be no better than the hacker mario roms and such all you would get is novelty and some nice looking graphics (cell shading anyone?).

Hmm, I think that X-box game got roundly panned.
Did in Digitiser anyway, and that's the only thing I really pay attention to.
AS for the GBA game, I heard somwhere that it was a rumour, and they were mocked up to show how it would look.
Not 100% though. I don't think the game was from a major developer, or had any sort of distribution rights sorted out.
Personally I'd do it as a RTS.
