e-HOBBY's newest figure is going to be Guardian Robot, a repaint of the Encore #10 Omega Supreme obviously.

I know, it was hard for me to even report this news due to the fact that I was in utter shock at their choice for a repaint.

Well, at least it's a sensible repaint and somethign I can see people actually wanting rather than, say, repainting pink and calling him Elita-1...

Hmm. Seems predictable, I guess. Still, I figured e-hobby would've gone with the black/red scheme from the Grandstand Convertor version, seeing as they occasionally chose the Diaclone (etc) versions to base repaints on. Actually, I've always liked that look on the mould.

Wasn't There...

Post by Detective Barricade »

Wasn't there a blue redeco of Transformers Energon Omega Supreme before?:eyebrow: I think it might have been in the Universe line. If so, E-Hobby may have based this exclusive of G1 Omega Supreme on that. Not that the blue looks bad on either of them.:D
Got a complaint?

Yes. Omega Sentinel.

Still part of Energon, iirc.

Nah, both Omega Sentinel and this are homages to the Guardian Robots from the episode "War Dawn".

1) You can homage more than one character per toy
2) My brain's obviously on the fritz. Do a guy a favour and point me in the direction of the original character to carry that name, would ya.

So my question is why would a Guradian Robot need a rocket station/battle tank on a track alt mode?

Why, for the same reason omega Supreme needs one of course.

Wow . . . that's . . . that's a lot of blue. It's like the part of my brain that processes blue overloaded for a moment when it saw that . . .

So what's the official name?" Robo Gadep"? "Guardep"?

Monzo pointed out to me that "Gadepu" was always the Japanese name for the Guardian Robots, while the Quintessons' Dark Guardians were named "Gadepo". Hu.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Oh RLY im lost now whats the difference?
I have the pre TF Omegatron and I think I'll get both OS and the Guardian and have the (black/grey) Omegatron as a Nemesis.
And @RIDS you can never have too much blue.

Oops, my mistake. Sorry. Still, Dreamwave called the guardian robots 'Omega sentinel' according to http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Omega_Sentinel

Ahhh, that's reminded me of Kickback telling us about that convention he went to where they had a Trypticon race. I miss Kickback :(
