Not much there yet. Though apparently Takara has secured the rights to make a movie based on some real life events.

This could be the start of an ARG. For those who don't know ARG = Alternate Reality Game. Typically a series of web sites or events that treat the movie, or something related to the movie as if it were real. I imagine the content found at sectorseven.org will change over time.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

That looks cool.

Proper big blazing Bay style action. Of course I have no sound, but sweet mother of me that looks far better than I'd hoped.

Wasn't it supposed to come online on friday? Anyway, I'm not complaining.

It looks ultra promising, the scenes with Incinerator [helicopter] were awesome. I couldn't make out other bots besides him, Prime and Bumblebee in robot mode, although I think I caught a glimpse of Megatron.
Few stuff in the UK to trade/sell. Measly sales thread.

Visually it looked promising. Haven't read story spoilers, but judging by trailer and what I know I won't like the movie. Which has been pretty much sure, just not interested in "big explosion" movies.

Bad news, aside from the explosions, there was little sound ;-(

Looks good. Looks really good.

Of course, I'm going in with the same expectations as SW Episode one - but then again, I might be pleasently surprised again :D

I have to say though - the "music" they were using was rather Terminator-ish

D*mn that actually looked pretty good. But the so did the trailer to the Island! Why'd they have to give the TF movie to Bay? Anyway here's hoping its not the usual pile of sh*t that Bay films are! Even the designs are starting to grow on me. And that shot of Incinerator transforming is really good!

That's great news! I regularly watch trailers without sound... think they look brilliant, then hear the dialogue that accompanies it and just get depressed.

The scene with Blackout (is that the chopper?) made me have flashbacks to T2.

And obviously the intro with the meteor is a blatant rip-off from Slither. ;)

Please, dear-lord, don't rip off Slither. This already has the potential to be a B movie - don't copy another modern B movie.

Chunks of the trailer reminded me of T3, especially the shot of something crashing into an office window.

Anyone know of anywhere you can download the trailer instead of streaming it?

Ok, I just need to vent for a little bit:

These are trailers:

Of couse the first one was vague: It was a TEASER trailer - just to let you know the movie was coming out.

The one just released: It's a trailer - designed to wet the appitite and get people interested. It showed characters people would recognize (Prime and Bumblebee), some transforming (though never a full one) and some flashy stuff (as well as the actors involved). It's not going to reviel the main part of the story - that would be foolish - that's what gets people to see the film

Don't judge a film by the trailer - if you do that - then Daredevil, Catwoman and a whole host of others would have been fantastic movies. It's a trailer, go "ooooh, that looks spiffy" and wait. This is not a portent of the crappiness of the movie or of it's god like status - we won't know that until the bloody thing comes out.

That should go without saying, but I completely understand why you've needed to.

The job of a trailer is to make you want to see a film. As far as this [still skeptical] bloke goes, it's done its job.

@Brave Maximus

No, it's different!

The first "trailer" was a so called "Announcement Trailer" (1 year before the release) and the latest one is the real "Teaser-Trailer" (6 months before the release).

A "simple" Trailer always shows you a big chunk of the story (Superman, Spider-Man 3 and so on) and will be usually aired 3 months before the actual movie starts.

Pretty incoherent series of fades.
It showed characters people would recognize (Prime and Bumblebee)
Bit optimistic there, I think. Some people might see the truck and make a connection, but it might take a full-body poster in the foyer (of the type we've already seen previewed) to say it's Prime, assuming they remember the character.
Anyone know of anywhere you can download the trailer instead of streaming it?
Might be a Yahoo exclusive for the moment. It'll happen.

Anyone else not been able to load the site? I get the notices that the pictures aren't there and the video never loads. I do see at the top of the page it says promotional advertisment.

oops... I had a bunch of positive things I wanted to say about the trailer until I started mixing goldie, the wu tang clan, and music from the borat film to it. Before I stopped myself I'd got to 666s' alarma and this rather stonking version of baby face (this one)

... anyway it's fantastic, I really like it, and the trailer's not bad either. Take my wife, please.

no really, top notch trailer, even if the "the only lead we have is this sound" line is a bit pointless, my little poney makes up for it

Wait, I thought this movie was supposed to follow the original story? From the looks of the trailer, it doesn't seem like they land in pre-historic time? I have a feeling this is gonna be a big ball of dookie.
