Is it just me, or is it a new 'thing' for Transformers media to show as little of the actual Transformers as possible?

Plenty of Transformers, many using their alt-modes...

No, no... you (and the rest of us, I suppose) have been duped. What we're ACTUALLY witnessing is a resurgance of TURBO TEEN, but they felt that the concept but with the Transformers name would be more marketable.

Uh? That is so unimpressive, especially after so much promise.

Still, order's in, so I'll judge it when I get the hardcopy in hand.

Art du jour isn't a major promotional thing, it's just that some fan sites tend to big it up -- it's usually whatever lineart pages are around the office that whoever's posting likes.
