Ah...I don't care what name they put on the box or what the liscense plate says...that is supposed to be Overdrive.

It's as obvious from the head sculpt as Dead End/Sunstreaker or Swindle/Trailbreaker.

<sigh>

Ah well...I guess they decided Overdrive wasn't a well enough known G1 character?

I was kinda hoping for Megatron because of the BFG. Oh well. Not in love with the head sculpt or the legs, but I like the rest of him, especially the convertible feature. I know that protos have shown that it's removable, but I'm hoping the final product can be worked, so that it folds in. That would be awesome.

Not bad, but I really dislike strong primary colours... of course, there's a better balance on the robot mode... I do like the chest-piece, which avoids large blocks of colour... and I hope something else can be done with the hip wings...

Don't see much of Windcharger in him, really. His shoulders, hips, chest and shield practically shriek RiD Prowl, though (maybe that'll be the repaint?). And as was mentioned, the head is blatantly Overdrive. But I love the guy anyway. Enough so that he's going right to the top of my 'must buy' list.
