Alternity Convoy

Post by Nevermore »

Just so we have it all in one thread.

Name is "Alternity". Unknown if this will be a line or just a single release.

Vehicle mode is based on a licensed Nissan GT-R, making the toy a successor or sorts to the Binaltech line. However, the "Alternity" toy will only be about Deluxe-sized, with the vehicle mode at a 1/32 scale. Like Binaltech toys, it will contain diecast parts. The design is mixing Alternators complexity with the movie design aesthetic.

The first (and thus far only confirmed) character is going to be Convoy. He's going to be available in two colors: "Ultimate Metal Silver" (standard GT-R colors) and "Vibrant Red" (classic G1 Optimus Prime/Convoy colors).

The toy was originally scheduled for a November 2008 release, but has now apparently been pushed back to January.

It could be like Robot Masters and be a line entirely of Convoy figures...

Robot masters wasn't all convoys.

Anyway, this looks a bit to expensive for me right now, but if save up, I might be able to import it (though I'll wait for the red version). Even if I did get it though, it`d arrive late, like every thing else that we get here in Houston:(

Looks like it might be easier to transform than the bloody Binaltech toys. Thank god for that.

I want the silver one. I'll call him Turbo Convoy. :D
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

Good grief. Those seats on the forearms don't look at all tacky, do they? In no way "we can't figure out what to do with these in robot mode, so we'll just leave them there."

Rest of it looks alright.

Binalt/Alternity Convoys seem to like wearing their seats on the forearm. It's a fashion statement.

:swirly:

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

That update is somewhat old, but I love the Thundercracker display. Whether you like the Masterpiece Seeker mold or no, this is a fantastic set-up!

I like the red Prime alot, cant wait to see Megatron.
The silver prime makes me think movie Protoform...
These toys seem to be Bineltech Meets TF:2k7 Which is fine with me..

After I saw the colored pics of red and silver versions, I went and checked out that, REALLY random,
"Universe" swerve released during the Movie / Classic era.

This is like the first Alternity, before it had a name, Its kinda tight. I got the Red Version, now i want a Yellow... maybe to be Bumblebee or, if they make B.B. ~> Powerflash!?
