Weirdwolf & Monzo and Blitzwing vs. Viewfind and Astrotrain99

An incredible burst of fireworks brought the Archive Wrestling Federation’s first match-based pay per view, Sky High Redemption, onto the air. The music of the TWF turned the raucous crowd’s cheers to jeers as Viewfind and Astrotrain, accompanied by the newly-signed Professor Smooth, made their way to the ring for the opening contest. The teaming of Weirdwolf and Blitzwing seemed odd at best, but both men knew it was in their best interests after their Intercontinental Title tournament match was interrupted when Blitzwing was attacked by TWF stooges and forced to forfeit. Though Weirdwolf won the match, he was not amused by the actions of his former TWF mates and chose Blitzwing as his best possible tag team partner for revenge.

Once the odd couple made it to the ring, Blitzwing and Viewfind started off the match, and Viewfind agitated the anti-TWF crowd with a poke to Blitzwing’s eyes. Viewfind whipped Blitzwing into the ropes and nailed him with a knee to the midsection, then followed it up with a headlock. Blitzwing fought out of it and heaved Viewfind across the ring, barreling him down with a shoulderblock when he came across. Viewfind bounced off the canvas and missed a right hand, and Blitzwing pushed Viewfind back and scored with a standing dropkick. Viewfind rolled back and tagged Astrotrain, and the hulking TWF star attacked Blitzwing with a vengeance and heaved him to the canvas. Blitzwing got to his feet and tagged the experienced Weirdwolf, who came in and used that experience when he avoided Astrotrain’s lunging clothseline attempt and stunned the big man with a series of crisp punches. Wolf punched Astrotrain into a corner and began dishing out boots to the midsection. He tried to whip him across to the other corner, but when Astro wouldn’t budge, Wolf tagged Blitzwing and the two teamed to whip Astro into the ropes, then level him with a double flying elbow to the face.

Blitz kept the advantage, leaping onto Astrotrain’s back and cinching in a sleeperhold. Just as the big man began to fade, Viewfind dashed into the ring and leveled Blitz with a right hand, gaining the ire of the crowd. Stunned but unhurt, Blitz got up and grabbed Astrotrain and flipped him with a hard suplex, followed by a pin attempt that got two. Astro poked Blitz in the eyes and got the advantage, then made the tag to the fresh Viewfind. Viewfind hopped in and wore down Blitzwing with a headlock, then, when Blitzwing was tired, he tagged Astrotrain and watched as the big man went to the top rope and flew off, looking for a huge legdrop. However, Blitz moved, and Astro found nothing but mat! Blitz rolled over and tagged Wolf, who rushed in and began decking Astro and Viewfind back and forth!

Just as Weirdwolf knocked Astrotrain through the ropes to gain the advantage, Blitzwing was helping himself up on the ropes. He saw the action going on, stepped forward...and leveled his own partner from behind!!! As the crowd fell silent, Viewfind caught Wolf and dropped him into the Philly Pimp Drop, getting the three count!!! Blitzwing stepped forward, and he and Viewfind embraced! Astrotrain and Professor Smooth entered the ring and all four men raised each other’s hands with Blitzwing as the newest member of the TWF Alliance!!!

Intercontinental Title Tournament Semifinals
Grimlock vs. Bombshell

(Backstage)
NFHG: So Grimlock, you get a shot at the finals of the IC tourney tonight. But in your last match, you nearly crippled Savannahtron with a vicious ankle-lock. Why did--
Grimlock: You want me to tell you why I wouldn't let go of that pansy? Because he needs to be taught a lesson. I have been here from the beginning and I demand respect! And today I'm gonna beat some respect into Bombshell and whoever else I face!
(Bombshell walks in just then)
BS: Respect, huh? I'll show you respect!
(Jumps Grimlock and starts punching him in the face)
NFHG: Wait a minute! Bombshell's attacking Grimlock!
Grimlock pushes Bombshell off him and gets up. Ducking under a right hand, he slams Bombshell into the background and starts laying into him. Ref crews show up, shouting "Save it for the ring!" and break up the fight.
NFHG: It's gonna be a helluva match tonight, and it's next!

"Shooter" hits, and Bombshell starts down the ramp, rubbing his neck from being hit backstage. He mutters to himself as he gets into the ring to a smattering of applause but mostly boos.

Then comes Ken Shamrock's theme, and Grimlock charges down to the ring. Sliding in, he ducks under a clothesline, bounces off the ropes and rams his knee into Bombshell's thigh, knocking the Hive member down. Grimlock drops on top of Bombshell and begins hammering him with rights as the Ref counts against him.

Grim glares at the ref as he lets up, then Bombshell goes for the roll-up, but Grim kicks out after two.

Grim heads for the ropes and bounces off them, clotheslining Bombshell to the mat. Grabbing his opponent by the hair, he sets him up and hits a DDT! Bombshell writhes in pain as Grimlock goes for the cover, but Bombers kicks out after two!

Grimlock decides to go up top, leaping with a moonsault, but Bombshell gets his legs up and drives them into Grim's chest! Grim falls off him and grabs at his stomach as Bombshell recovers and bulldogs Grimlock as he staggers to his feet. But this takes something out of Bombers as well, and as the Ref tends to him, Savannahtron runs in from the crowd and hits a back-kracka on Grimlock! Seeing this, Bombers gets over as quick as he can and goes for the cover, but Grim just barely gets his shoulder up! Angered, he slowly sets him up for the jacknife powerbomb, as Bombers is still low on energy, but Grimlock is able to wriggle out of it and hits Bombers with the Olympic slam! One, two, three and Bombers is eliminated! This isn't enough for Grimlock, who wails away on Bombers after the match with right hands as the bell goes off repeatedly.

But Grimlock won't let up! So after a few more seconds, Punded into Dust hits and Shrapnel and Kickback charge down the ramp! Kickback gets in the ring first but is leveled by Grimlock, who then tries to clothesline Shrapnel as the AWF champ ducks under him, then slams him in the face with the title belt! The Hive members then help their fallen comrade to his feet and pat him on the back for his effort. The three join hands in a pose for the fans, standing over Grimlock, before finally heading out of the ring!

Intercontinental Title Tournament Semifinals
Reflector vs. Unicron

The crowd erupted in cheers as NOFX began blaring over the stadium and Reflector appeared at the top of the runway. He waved at the crowd as he got into the ring. “Ladies and Gentleman, this next match is for a spot in the Intercontinental Title Tournament Finals!” The crowd cheered until the lights were dimmed. All became silent as Unicron made his way to the ring. The Chaos Bringer entered the ring slowly and took off his hat and trench coat as soon as he got in. The lights came back on in the stadium and the bell rang.

Unicron marched into the centre of the ring as Reflector started hoping from side to side along the ropes. Reflector would have to make good use of his speed in order to defeat his lumbering opponent, but it wasn’t going to help in the early goings as Unicron cornered the upstart youngster. Reflector tried to make a brake for it along the ropes, but Unicron cut him off and pushed him back into the turnbuckle. He then started pounding Flec in the corner with a flurry of fists. Flec fell to the ground and Unicron dragged him out into the centre of the ring. He lifted Flec off the ground and sent him into the ropes. Flec ducked Unicron’s clothesline and hit his taller opponent in the back when he bounced off the ropes on the other side of the ring. Unicron staggered a little, and Flec followed up with forearm to the head. Unicron was knocked back to the ropes and Flec followed him with a clothesline. Flec’s momentum was enough to knock both men over the top rope and onto the outside.

Flec and Unicron both got to their feet at the same time. Flec tried to punch Unicron, but Unicron grabbed Flec’s fist as he tried to punch him. Unicron began squeezing Flec’s fist and he fell to his knees. Unicron loosened his grip on his fist and Flec managed to raise himself to his feet again, but Unicron only did this so that he could wipe Flec into the steel ring post. Flec’s head connected with the post with a sickening thud. Flec fell to the ground and Unicron quickly picked him up and threw him into the ring before the referee could count either of them out.

Unicron slipped into the ring and picked Flec up and flipped him over, setting up for the tombstone, but before he could deliver the deadly manoeuvre, Flec kicked him right in the head. Unicron dropped Flec, who rolled away, and staggered back. Flec got to his feet, ran into the ropes and then used the added momentum to nail Unicron with a clothesline that knocked the big man down. Flec then began giving the boots to Unicron as the crowed cheered him on. Flec lifted Unicron and sent him into the ropes, as Unicron came running into Flec, Flec jumped in the air and delivered a standing drop kick that knocked Unicron down. Flec then signalled to the crowed that it was time for the “The Ancient Art of Satisfaction”.
Flec began to rub Unicron’s stomach as Unicron lay on the ground with his eyes closed. Unicron suddenly sat up and grabbed Flec by the neck. Flec looked stunned as he tried to break Unicron’s grip, but the Reaper from Parts Unknown would not let go. Unicron got to his feet and pulled Flec up with him. Flec couldn’t do anything as Unicron raised him up into the air by one arm and held him there for what seemed like forever. The crowed fell silent as Flec was sent flying into the mat at Unicron’s feet. Flec was knocked out, but Unicron wasn’t finished with him. Instead, he picked Flec up and set him up for the Tombstone. He dropped Flec hard into the mat and then went for the cover by putting both of Flec’s hands above his chest. The referee counted the 1-2-3 and the match was over. Unicron was going to the finals.

European Title Tournament Finals
Sixswitch (w/Lord Sixshot) vs. Kickback

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match tonight is scheduled for one fall and is the final of the European Championship Tournament.
First, making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Lord Sixshot, Sixswitch"

The crowd erupted into cheers and chants of "we want puppies" as the gorgeous LordSixshot made her way through the curtain followed by Sixswitch. The two reached the ring, and Sixswitch jumped up onto the ring apron, lowering the bottom rope allowing Sixshot to step through.

"And his opponent, from the mean streets of Eindhoven, Holland" The crowd laughed. "Kickback." Drop the bombshell hit the arena, almosting deafening the crowd, then the all too familiar chorus of boo's followed as Kickback showed his face. Looking mean, and ready for a fight he sauntered down to the ring, the crowd in anticipation of his first match without accompanyment from another member of The Hive.

The referee signalled and the match was underway, Sixshot walked down the steps to ringside, then sat at the commentry table!
Kickback began the match with his usual desire to get the job done quickly charging at Sixswitch he tried to hit the Spear, but to no avail as Sixswitch side-stepped and Kickback's head hit the corner turnbuckle, as Kickback lay with his head on the turnbuckle Sixswitch ran over and dropped the elbow into the small of Kickback's back, the crowd groaned as they watched Sixswitch repeatedly stomp on Kickback's spine. The referee pulled Sixswitch away from the corner, allowing Kickback time to rotate his body and sit in the corner, as soon as the referee let Sixswitch go, he went back to the corner and leant over to pick Kickback up, Kickback kicked Sixswitch in the stomach. Staggering the welshman just enough for Kickback to lift himself up and begin a flurry of punches leading Sixswitch back to the ropes. Kickback sling-shotted Sixswitch to the ropes opposite, ducked down and hit a samoan drop, Kickback was beginning a fightback when Sixshot jumped up onto the ring apron, the referee went over to get her to stand down, Kickback turned to go back to attacking Sixswitch again, but Sixswitch had pulled something from his tights...

As Kickback closed on Sixswitch, Sixswitch opened his hand out flat and blew some sort of dust into Kickback face blinding the insect!! Kickback staggered backwards into the referee who stumbled into Sixshot knocking her from the ring. Sixswitch rolled up Kickback and hooked his tights, the referee began the count 1...2...Kickback miraclously kicked out from the pin. Just then, Sixshot reached up and slid a steel chair into the ring. As the referee bent to remove it, Kickback pulled a set of brass knuckles from his tights and slugged Sixswitch in the face! As the referee turned, Kickback heaved the foreign object into the crowd, then covered the unconscious Sixswitch.

1....2....3 !! Kickback had won the European Championship in a somewhat controversial fashion. As Drop the Bombshell hit the arena again Kickback was handed his gold.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner, and NEW AWF European Champion, KICKBACK!"

Kickback left the ring to a mixed reaction as Sixswitch sat up in the ring, a small amount of blood dripping from a wound in his head as his woman jumped in to comfort him.

Tag Team Championship
Blitzwing 2 & Blaster86 vs. RPA (Redstreak & RCOSD)

"Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for your patience, the next match tonight at AWF Redemption will crown the undisputed Tag Team champions! Making their way to the ring Blaster_86 and Blitzwing 2." The sounds of "Freak on a Leash" thumped through the PA as lights flashed on the archivetron. A huge pyro shot off as the tag-team appeared through the curtain and the crowd erupted into a chorus of cheers. The fresh tag-team ran down to the ring and signalled to the crowd that they had every intention of winning the Tag Titles that night. The crowd were exstatic until the arrival of their opponents.

And their opponents, the assumed Tag Champions, RPA! "Feel so numb" pulsed through the arena and PA as the "Tag team champions" made their way to the ring. REceiving mixed reactions from the crowd, carrying the tag titles (handed to them on a technicality) they entered the ring and prowdly showed off the gold they had.
As the referee took the belts off the pair Blaster_86 and Blitzwing 2 took no time in attacking their opponents, Blitzwing charged RCOSD knocking the pair to the outside of the ring as Blitzwing rocked RCOSD on the outside Blaster had began doing a number on Redstreak inside the ring. Blaster was throwing lefts and rights which had Redstreak staggering, Blaster whipped Redstreak to the ropes and hit a huge clothesline, Blaster lifted Redstreak and again whipped him to the ropes and went for another clothesline, Redstreak ducked under and ran to the ropes, Blaster turned round and again went for a clothesline, Redstreak ducked under again, grabbed Blaster's head and hit a neckbreaker. Blaster lay on the mat, semi-conscious as Redstreak stood up and leg-dropped his opponent. RCOSD and Blitzwing 2 had each returned to their corners after a brief battle on the outside. Redstreak lifted Blaster to his feet and threw him like a rag doll to the corner and tagged his partner in, the pair began a double team assault on the fallen Blaster and when Blitzwing attempted to enter the ring to aide his partner, Redstreak walked across the ring prompting the referee to push Blitzwing back through the ropes. At this point RCOSD began to choke Blaster in the corner, Redstreak managing to keep the referee and Blitzwing away from the actions in the opposite corner. RCOSD picked up the tired Blaster and scoop slammed him in the corner signalling for Redstreak to go to the top rope, Redstreak climbed the ropes and dropped a huge elbow into the crotch of Blaster! As Blaster grabbed his nether regions, Blitzwing had had enough, he entered the ring and proceeded to go postal on his opponents, first knocking RCOSD to the mat, then running to the ropes causing Redstreak to stradle the turnbuckle!
Blitzwing climbed the ropes and threw Redstreak on top of RCOSD. Blitzwing made his way to the top rope and hit a frog-splash on the two, Blaster lay and arm across the two and the referee counted 1...2....both members of the RPA kicked out of the pin.

Blaster stood up and began attacking RCOSD who was now the legal man in the ring, Blitzwing pulled Redstreak to the outside and began beating on him. Blaster drop-kicked RCOSD knocking him to the mat when suddenly the crowd erupted into cheers and shouts, Blaster looked up the ramp to see Galvatron91 and Addl standing at the top of the ramp. RCOSD stood and hit Blaster across the back, but Blaster exploded back when RCOSD saw 2/3's of the Triumverate standing watching the match. Blaster ran to the ropes and hit his patented soundsault and went for the cover....1.....2.......3!!!

Blitzwing 2 and Blaster_86 had won in a shock match, G91 and Addl both smiled before turning and leaving the ramp, allowing Blitzwing2 and Blaster_86 to bask in their glory.

Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title
PaladinPrime vs. Prowl?

The lights dim, and a pair of spotlights flash across the ring. One eventually glides upwards, until it settles on a sparkling gold belt, suspended above the ring. The other glides down the aisle, and highlights a steel ladder.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a ladder match, and will decide the AWF Hardcore Champion". A chorus of cheers erupts from the electrified crowd. "The rules are simple. Pinfalls do not count. Submissions do not count. There are no count outs, and there are no disqualifications. The only way to win the match is to climb the ladder, and retrieve the Championship belt."

"Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts: Paladin Prime"

Bush's "Machine Head" starts pumping through the sound system. Paladin emerges at the topof the ramp, and soaks up the cheers from the capacity crowd. He stares up toward the ring, and fixes the belt with a steely glare as he makes his way down the aisle. He steps around the ladder, never taking his eye from the belt, and slides into the ring.

"And his opponent..." The sound of "Crazy Train" hurtles through the arena "From Prince George, Canada - Prowl?" The ring announcer then exited the ring as fast as his legs would allow him. Prowl? strolled down the ramp, an intense look on his face. He fived some of the fans he passed, taking in the applause, until he reached the ladder. Uncertain of which way to go around it, he took the third option, quickly collapsing it and picking it up. Prowl? then tucked the ladder under his arm, and hurtled down the aisle, sliding into the ring as he dropped the ladder onto the ringside mats.
Paladin Prime wasted no time in attacking Prowl?, nailing the Canadian with a series of kicks as he slid into the ring. The bell rang, and the match was officially underway.

Paladin continued to bombard his opponent with punches and kicks as he reached his feet, before whipping him into the ropes on the opposite side. Prime telegraphed the back-bodydrop, though, and Prowl? countered with a devastating swinging neckbreaker. As the Boston native rolled out of the ring to get his bearings back, Prowl? took a run up, and leveled his opponent with a baseball slide.

With both men on the outside of the ring, the crowd started getting into it. Prowl? picked up Paladin, and hurled the Boston native into the steel ring steps, before heading towards the timekeeper's table. The Canadian hurled the timekeeper from his position, and appropriated the steel chair he had been sat on. Prowl? looked down at his opponent, draped across the steps, and folded the chair up. But as he lifted it high, Paladin quickly dodged out of the way, and the chair collided with the stairs, the unintended impact stinging Prowl?'s fingers. Paladin quickly followed up by hurdling the ringsteps, and nailing his opponent with a thunderous clothesline. With Prowl? floored, Paladin quickly went to work by pulling up one of the mats from ringside, exposing the concrete floor. He retrieved his opponent from the ground, and attempted to heave him to the exposed floor. Prowl? was having none of it, though, and quickly made it clear by levelling Paladin with a low blow. With his opponent doubled up in agony, Prowl? seized his opportunity, and tossed the American over the guardrail, and into the crowd.
The Canadian then wandered back around to the aisle-side of the ring, and retreived the ladder, before sliding it into the ring.

Aware that he was far from putting his opponent out, Prowl opted to set the ladder up in the corner of the ring, before returning to the arena floor to deal with Paladin. As Prime managed to heave himself back over the guardrail, Prowl? nailed him with a hard right hand, before grabbing a sound engineer's cable, and wrapping it around his opponent's neck. Paladin quickly thrust his elbow into his foe's stomach a couple of times, and managed to break the hold. Untangling himself, Paladin landed a series of punches to Prowl?'s face, before hurling him into the guard rail. Busted open, Prowl? staggered to his feet as Paladin retrieved the steel chair. Prime lifted the weapon high, and brought it down fast, but the Canadian managed to land a boot in Paladin's gut, causing him to miss the shot. Desperate to regain his momentum, Prowl? landed another boot to the midsection, and as his opponent doubled over, nailed him with a fast DDT to the exposed concrete.

His back hurt from the impact, Prowl? rolled the near-unconscious Paladin off him, and heaved himself back into the ring. He lay on the ring apron for a moment, catching his breath, before rolling back under the ropes. He stood in the centre of the ring, staring up at the belt above him, then looked at the ladder, before glancing back to the side of the ring where his opponent was laid out. Resignedly, Prowl? adjusted the ladder in the corner, before starting to climb it. Paladin was climbing back to his feet though, so he decided not to risk anything, and began his descent back to the ring. He reached the mat just as Paladin managed to pull himself back under the bottom rope, his forehead bleeding from the impact with the concrete. Prowl? quickly collapsed the ladder and, showing his might, heaved it above his head, before dropping it onto the shoulders of the kneeling American. The pain seared through Paladin's back as Prowl? removed the ladder, and rested it in the corner, in front of the turnbuckles.

Grabbing Prime by the hair, Prowl? heaved his opponent up, but caught a flurry of determined punches to the gut. Frustrated, the Canadian poked his opponent in the eye, before heaving him up for a chokeslam. Again, Prowl? pulled his opponent up, and this time backed him into the corner opposite the ladder. He attempted an irish whip into the steel, but Paladin tried a reversal, before Prowl? reversed it again, sendin his opponent back into the corner where they'd started. The Canadian took a few steps back, but Paladin dodged the shoulderblock, and Prowl? hurtled between the turnbuckles, his momentum stopped only by the steel post. Paladin grabbed his opponent's feet, and quickly heaved him all the way through the ropes, onto the arena floor, before staggering across the ring, towards the ladder.

As Paladin set up the ladder in the centre of the ring, Prowl? crawled underneath the ring, pulling out a table, before finally finding a wrench that was used for the ring's construction. Holding his injured shoulder, Prowl? rolled back into the ring. Paladin had managed to set the ladder up, and the crowd went mad as he reached the fourth rung. But his opponent had other ideas, positioning himself behind the climning Boston resident, and nailing him in the back of the knee with the wrench. A sickening thud echoed around ringside, and Paladin dropped like a sack of potatoes. Prowl? then went to work on the knee, hauling his opponent's leg over the bottom rope, and using the top rope for leverage as he landed several sit-down-splashes onto the damaged limb. As Paladin crawled away from the ropes, Prowl? started delivering elbow drops and knee drops to the leg, before grabbing Paladin's foot, and hauling him into a corner. Prowl? then slid outside the ring, and wrapped the knee around the steel post. With his opponent incapacitated, Prowl? began his climb up to the gold. But Paladin managed to drag himself close enough to catch his good foot on the bottom of the ladder, tipping it over. The ladder fell, and Prowl? landed throat-first across the top rope, slingshotting back into the ring. Both men lay motionless on the mat for what seemed an eternity, before somebody finally stirred.

Paladin Prime heaved himself up with the use of the ropes, and collapsed the ladder. Picking up the steel instrument, he balanced it on its base, and then let it fall onto the prone form of Prowl?. Paladin then limped across to the ropes, stepping through onto the apron, and dropped to ringside. He spotted the table that Prowl? had uncovered earlier, and slid it into the ring. Gingerly, he rolled in after it, and after delivering a few kicks to his floored opponent, he went about setting up the table in the ring. But Paladin wasn't finished there, he then retrieved the ladder, and set it up in the middle of the ring, with the table only feet away from the rungs. Prowl? began to climb to his feet, but was quickly levelled by a forearm to the face, before being backed into a corner for more punishment. After soaking up some punches, Prowl? began to fight back, but a headbutt quickly took the wind from his sails, and left him bleeding profusely from his nose. Paladin then slammed the Canadian's head into the top turnbuckle a few times, before dropping back down to ringside. He threw the timekeeper away from his table, and retrieved the bell, still attached to its wooden backing board.

The American slid back into the ring as Prowl? started to get back to his feet, and levelled his opponent from behind, smashing the weight of the bell and board into his foe's back. Prowl? dropped straight to his knees, clutching his back in agony, and Paladin began raining forearms onto the lumbar area. With his opponent in agony, Paladin decided it was time to put him out of the match for good. He dragged his prone competitor to the foot of the ladder, moving the table backwards to make enough room. Then, ignoring the pain in his knee, he scooped up Prowl? and positioned him on the ladder, feet on the rungs, facing outwards. Paladin then began to climb the ladder, moving Prowl? up the rungs as he went. Finally, when they were both two-thirds of the way up, Paladin punched his opponent, sending blood splattering down to the mat below, and then grabbed him in a front facelock. The crowd suddenly realised that he planned to gain revenge for the earlier DDT onto the concrete, by driving Prowl? facefirst off the ladder, and into the table below. But, as Paladin started to pull with his arm, nothing happened. Prowl? had a hold on the ladder with both hands. Eventually he raised a knee, driving it against Paladin's damaged limb, causing him to release the hold. As Paladin struggled to maintain his precarious balance, Prowl started backing up the ladder, until he was a few rungs above his opponent, and nearly at the top. He grabbed Paladin's head, and pulled the American up with him, until Prowl? himself was sat atop the ladder! Carefully leaning forward, reached down Paladin's back, wrapping his arms around his waist. Prowl? grinned beneath the coating of red over his face, and carefully leaned back, before powerbombing Paladin Prime into the table below!

The ladder rocked violently at the sudden shifting of weights, as Paladin's body ploughed into the table below, scything it in half, the two segments flipping over, and landing on top of him. Prowl? held on the the ladder as it stopped swaying, before carefully adjusting his position, reaching up, and grabbing the belt.

Intercontinental Title Tournament Finals
Grimlock vs. Unicron

Having already competed in the semifinal round, both competitors seemed rather worn as they made their way to the ring. Ultimately, it would be Grimlock who would appear to be the fresher of the two throughout. The match was a short and rather boring one, considering the high stakes. Grimlock used his endurance to wear down Grimlock with a series of simple submission moves focused on Unicron’s lower body, which appeared to have been damaged by Reflector in the semifinal match earlier in the night.

After a few minutes in a modified Boston Crab, Unicron looked as though he was about to give in to the pain and submit. However, he reached desperately for the ropes one last time and succeeded, and Grimlock was forced to break the hold. As the referee broke up the two, Grimlock stepped back and kicked Unicron in the stomach, then set him up for a powerbomb that would certainly finish it. Unicron, however, did not even have the strength to stand. His exhausted body slumped to the mat, and Grimlock raised his hands to the crowd as if to ask for a real challenger. As Grimlock reached down and lifted Unicron to his feet, Unicron quickly grabbed Grimlock and rolled him over into a small package!!! The referee counted 1....2....then, at the last instant, Grimlock used his strength to roll Unicron back over into a small package of his own that got 1....2.....3 to win it!!! As the crowd exploded, the referee grabbed the belt and awarded it to Grimock, the AWF’s first Intercontinental Champion!!!

Triple Threat Elimination Hell in a Cell Match
Brawn vs. Ravage vs. Dai
Special Guest Referee: Jetfire

With the ladder match for the Hardcore Title having gone down with incredible results, violence was in the air as the Hell in a Cell was lowered to surround the entire ring area for the battle for an Intercontinental Title shot. Jetfire, the special guest referee for the affair, made his way down to the ring sporting a sleeveless referee’s jersey. First Ravage was introduced, then Dai. As soon as Dai entered the cage, he went right after Ravage and tackled him to the mat! Without even waiting for his entrance music, Brawn rushed down the aisle, jumped through the cage door and slid into the ring, grabbing his two opponents and slamming their heads together! While the three men brawled, other AWF officials locked the cage door behind them to officially begin the match. Brawn heaved Dai into a corner and nailed him with a series of boots to the chest, and Ravage joined in to make it a double-team. The two men picked up Dai and heaved him into the ropes, scoring with a double-clothesline. Not one for cooperation, Brawn turned and leveled Ravage with a right hand, knocking him through the ropes to the outside!

While Ravage recovered, Brawn picked up Dai and nailed him with a backbreaker, followed by an elbowdrop. Brawn went for a splash but missed, giving Dai the opportunity to bounce to his feet and drop his full bulk onto Brawn in a splash of his own. Ravage slid into the ring and attacked Dai from behind, then pushed Brawn through the ropes to the floor. Ravage heaved Dai into the ropes and nailed him with a dropkick, then pounded his face into the ropes repeatedly.

As that battle continued, Brawn dug around under the ring, looking for any kind of weapon to use on his opponents. He pulled a steel chair out, and took advantage of the situation when Ravage heaved Dai through the ropes onto the floor. As Dai pulled himself to his feet on the cage wall, Brawn came out of nowhere and swung the chair, crushing Dai’s head between the chair and the cage wall! As Dai crumpled to the floor, Ravage leaped up onto the rop rope and flew through the air, dropkicking the chair straight into Brawn’s face! Ravage stood between the two fallen warriors, trying to decide whom to pummel first. He picked up Dai and tossed him back into the ring, bringing the chair with him. As Jetfire looked on, Ravage raised the chair above his head and smashed it over Dai’s back! Dai rolled around on the mat in pain, and when he tried to help himself up on the ropes, Ravage dropped the chair and nailed Dai with a clothesline, knocking him all the way over the top rope onto the floor!

Desperate to slow the assault, Dai pulled up the protective cover on the floor to reveal the concrete floor. As Ravage slid to the outside with the chair in hand, Dai surprised him with a low blow! Ravage stumbled about in pain, and Dai pulled up the electrical wires from the floor and wrapped them around Ravage’s throat, choking him out! As Ravage struggled and began to lose breath, Dai pulled the wires with him into the ring and, in a heinous move, tied them to the top rope, essentially hanging Ravage with the wires!

As Ravage struggled for breath in his makeshift noose, Brawn was fishing around under the ring for his own toys. Disappearing for a moment, he returned to view dragging...a casket!!! The crowd let out a roar of applause as Brawn pulled the casket out and left it on the floor, then jumped into the ring, grabbed Dai around the waist, and flattened him with a bridge suplex that bounced Dai’s head off the mat! As Brawn jumped to his feet and nailed Dai with a legdrop, Ravage was finally able to free himself from the tangled wires and slide back into the ring. Brawn went for a pin on Dai but only got two, and Ravage rushed across the ring trying to clothesline Brawn over the ropes. Brawn, however, saw the move coming and backflipped Ravage over the top rope and straight down onto the casket! Ravage hit the casket back-first and did not move, and Brawn followed him out and grabbed Ravage’s head, pounding him face-first into the top of the casket! Rolling Ravage’s lifeless body onto the floor, Brawn opened the lid of the casket and stuffed Ravage inside, closing the lid!!! The crowd cheered, and Brawn climbed back into the ring to finish off Dai. Dai surprised Brawn with a kick to the midsection and a right hand, but Brawn avoided the next punch attempt, wrapped Dai into a suplex position, and flipped Dai straight onto the steel chair Ravage had left in the ring! As Dai’s head bounced off the steel, Brawn rolled over and hooked the leg, and Jetfire fell to the mat and counted the 1.....2.....3!!!!

Brawn leaped to his feet in victory and jumped onto the second rope, taking in the cheers of the crowd! As he remained on the ropes, calling for the cage to be raised and his hand raised in victory, Jetfire stood next to him and warned him that the match was not over. Brawn ignored him and continued to celebrate. Unfortunately for him, Ravage freed himself from the casket, slid into the ring, and leveled him with a low blow while he stood on the ropes!!! As Brawn doubled over in pain, Ravage plucked him from the ropes and dropped him powerbomb-style to the mat!!! Ravage slid into place for the cover, and Jetfire registered the three-count to certify Ravage as the victor!!!

Triple Threat Elimination Title Shot Match
Brendocon vs. Computron vs. S-Ghost

A huge match with the stakes at such heights has the crowd at the edge of their seats in anticipation. The first one out is S-Ghost. Met by a chorus of boos and insults and the chant of “Casper, Casper” S-Ghost glares at the crowd in obvious annoyance.

His annoyance only grows as his first opponent begins to make his way down to a much warmer ovation. While not a fan favorite, Brendocon is certainly respected by the fans and compared to the “Casper” chants; their recipient takes the H-D-D chants in a much better fashion. While making his way to the ring, the cameras cut back stage to show Galvatron91 donning stitches and a bandage over his eye watching Brendocon quite intensely.

Finally, the Hitman from Wales, and 13 times All Welsh Drinking Champion makes his way to the delight of the AWF fans. Computron quickly makes his way to the ring, eager to get the battle on. The announcer points out that this is an elimination match and that the number 1 contender’s spot is on the line. As the ref goes to check Computron for weapons, S-Ghost cold clocks Brendocon in the side of the head knocking him outside! He then rushes Computron, drop kicking him in the chest. Brendocon is not on the outside for long and is soon back in the ring with his diverse style, the match is under way!

Seeing Brendocon in the ring, S-Ghost slinks away to the outside. Brendocon then take this opportunity to drop a few strategically placed knees into Computron’s back. Then picking him up, Brendocon moves to send him to the ropes, then stops his momentum and carries Computron over in a fluid motion into a backbreaker, letting him rest on his knee then applying pressure to the upper and lower parts of the body. From the outside, S-Ghost smiles and cheers this move on, which prompts the fans to once again start the “Casper” chants. Growing increasingly agitated by the taunts of the fans, S-Ghost clasps his hands to his ear and begins to scream at them.

Noticing S-Ghost’s antics on the outside prompts Brendocon to do a baseball slide under the bottom rope, driving S-Ghost into the guardrail. Following through, Brendocon grabs S-Ghost and tosses him back in the ring, where Computron has recovered enough to greet S-Ghost with a series of stomps to the back and head. As Brendocon makes his way into the ring, Computron turns his attention to him and moves quickly across the ring, delivering a back elbow, which knocks the exposed Brendocon off the ring apron and onto the floor.

Computron now moves to work over S-Ghost, running back across the ring and launching himself and his elbow straight into S-Ghost’s knee. S-Ghost clutches the knee in pain, while Computron leaps up and begins to stomp away at the knee. Then grabbing the leg, he begins to stretch the knee out, dropping down to the mat and locking in a submission on the knee, which sends S-Ghost writhing in pain, but close enough to the ropes to force a breaking of the hold. Picking the now gimpy S-Ghost up, Computron tosses him to the corner, and then slips outside the ring, dragging him to the side with his legs dangling over the ring’s edges. Moving into position, Computron then positions himself just right to lock on the figure four on the outside of the ring around the turnbuckle. Screaming in pain, S-Ghost begins to tap…but the submission move does not count do to the fact that the hold is illegal. The referee moves outside to break the hold, only to be delayed by Brendocon, who is not hiding his enjoyment of S-Ghost’s suffering. Faking an injury, Brendocon holds the referee at bay to allow the figure four to continue to be locked on. Finally able to get over to the corner after brushing Brendocon aside, the referee forces the breaking of the hold and begins to admonish Computron.

However, the pain to S-Ghost’s severely damaged knee is no where near complete, as Brendocon returns to the ring just steps ahead of Computron and locks in his own figure four after dragging S-Ghost to the center of the ring. The referee slides into see if S-Ghost wants to tap, but he refuses and instead begins to make his way to the ropes…yet he is too far away.

Suddenly and without explanation Computron lunges a knee drop into Brendocon’s chest, forcing the breakage of the hold. S-Ghost looks up in shock. As does Brendocon who begins to pull himself up by the ropes. Computron, meanwhile, motions in S-Ghost’s direction that it is time to finish the match his way…all the while unaware that Brendocon is up and quite angry. Spinning Computron around with such velocity he is caught completely off guard, Brendocon hits the Hotdog Divebomb!!! Like a vulture though, it is S-Ghost who chop blocks Brendocon’s knee out from under him and makes a quick cover on Computron, 1, 2, and 3! Computron is eliminated!!!

Smiling and exhausted, unable to stand S-Ghost begins to gloat like he has won the match already…shrinking in the corner, he demands his hand to be raised. The ref simply shakes his head and in an instant as he sees the scowling Brendocon, S-Ghost recalls that it is an elimination match. Computron has now made his way out of the ring, receiving cheers from the fans in attendance and then there were two…

Moving into the corner, Brendocon grabs S-Ghost and drags him out, pulling him to his feet and beginning to chop away at his chest. Barely able to stand, S-Ghost totters with each chop and with each one the fans all chant “WOOOO!!!” Then, Brendocon delivers a chop that spins S-Ghost around allowing Brendocon to lock the arms into a full nelson and deliver a dragon’s suplex! S-Ghost’s head bounces off the mat and he flops into the corner. Brendocon goes for a pin, 1, 2, kick out!

Showing some signs of frustration, Brendocon moves S-Ghost to the center of the ring, to prepare to work the knee over with submission moves. As he prepares to again lock in the figure four, S-Ghost kicks his good leg up, landing a well placed shot between Brendocon’s legs…sending him straight to the mat.

Now given a few moments to recover, S-Ghost begins to work on the back of Brendocon. A few elbows into the small of the back, then into a camel clutch to not only wear down his opponent, but give him a chance to rest up some more. Beginning to fade, the ref begins to check Brend periodically for consciousness, but also to make certain that S-Ghost is not slipping his hands down to choke out his opponent. As Brendocon continues to fade the announcers indicate that something backstage has taken place.
*cameras go live backstage where Computron is seen bleeding from the forehead and unconscious*

Back in the ring, S-Ghost still has the hold locked and the ref begins to administer the hand drop test. First time…drop, second time…drop! Third and final time….hand shoots up and Brendocon begins to do a push up to bring himself back up. S-Ghost begins to panic as Brendocon grabs S-Ghost’s leg and rolls him into a pin on his back. 1, 2, kick out by S-Ghost! While the hold is released, S-Ghost is free to strike again, this time he locks on the Sharpshooter, to further the back injury along.

However, as he is about to lock it in, Brendocon spins it around into another pin! S-Ghost, immediately kicks out, but is growing more and more frustrated. Signaling to the crowd that it is time for the shot caller, he moves in on the now standing Brendocon…who strikes as soon as S-Ghost turns around with a Hotdog Divebomb! Falling on top of S-Ghost, the nearly unconscious Brendocon lies still as the ref counts 1, 2, 3! Brendocon wins a classic match! Both men continue to lie in the center of the ring unable to move, exhausted from the battle. Brendocon is left the number one contender with a flash instant shot from his move that comes out of nowhere. S-Ghost looked ready to finish it, but the HDD once again bailed out its master!

Backstage, Galvatron91 is shown watching the result, without making a single expression or saying a word he walks away from the monitor.

Retirement Match
Rock vs. Cliffjumper

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and the loser of the match will have to LEAVE the AWF."
The crowd cheers, and the "Avengers" theme tune pipes through the arena.

"Introducing first, from Swansea in Wales: Cliffjumper!"

Cliffjumper appears at the top of the ramp, basking in the adulation of the crowd. He strolls down to the ring, fiving audience members, before rolling into the ring.
"And his opponent..." music started to play through the p.a. system, but it was quickly drowned out by a cacophony of boos and jeers. "From somewhere in Texas... Rock."

Rock reached the ring as the announcer stepped between the ropes, sharing a joke with Cliffjumper. Noticably angered by the show of good spirits between his mortal enemy and a member of the establishment, Rock charged into the ring, and lunged for Cliffjumper. Cliffy dodged out of the way, kicking Rock in the back of the leg as the referee signalled for the bell.

Unconstrained by style, wrestling knowledge or any sense of respect for his opponent, Cliffy nailed Rock with a series of punches to the face, knocking him to the mat, as the referee failed to break up the brawling pair. Rock eventually reversed the momentum, forcing himself on top, and standing up. Grabbing Cliffjumper's legs, he grabbed him into the middle of the ring, but the fiery little Welshman managed to land a kick to the stomach, before popping up to his feet, and levelling the Texan with a clothesline, taking him over the top rope to the floor below. Cliffjumper backed up, and performed a perfect plancha dive between the ropes, levelling Rock. Not willing to let the match get back into Rock's domain, Cliffy continued to pound his opponent with a flurry of fists. Eventually Rock broke free of the onslaught, and rolled back into the ring. As Cliffjumper followed, Rock took his opportunity and started stomping away. He quickly picked up his opponent, and landed a vertical suplex, and leant across to gain a two count. As Rock screamed at the referee for his biased slow count, Cliffy climbed to his feet, and caught Rock with a schoolboy roll-up. The referee went down... 1... 2... 3! The referee signalled for the bell as Rock finally pushed out of the hold.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match - Cliffjumper!" The announcement went up as the official raised the victor's hand, and Rock went ballistic. Angry at what he felt was a fast count, he screamed that Cliffjumper was holding his tights, and that his shoulder was up anyway. Livid about losing to a non-wrestler's first pinning combination, he levelled the referee with a clothesline, before stomping on him. Cliffy immediately leapt to the defence of the fallen referee, spearing Rock with a shoulder tackle, and unloading a series of punches.

As the ring filled with officials and referees, Rock turned the tide, heaving his opponent up, and nailing him with a piledriver. He proceeded to wail on the referees, levelling three with straight punches, before picking up Cliffjumper, and nailing him with another piledriver. As the ring filled with officials, a group of policemen arrived on the scene, and forced their way through. As Rock was led away from the ring, handcuffed, a group of paramedics rushed to the ring, and slid the unconscious Cliffjumper onto a stretcher, and carried him away.

AWF World Title
Shrapnel (Champion) vs. Stone Cold Skywarp

Cameras went backstage as the tension leading up to the AWF’s biggest clash to date began to build. They caught up with The Hive (Shrapnel, Bombshell and Kickback) as they stood behind the curtain, waiting for their music to cue their entrance. Bombshell and Kickback each wished the World Champion the best of luck and assured him that Galvatron and Addl would not play a role in the match. Cannibal Corpse’s “Pounded into Dust” began to blare, and with the World Title belt wrapped around his waist, Shrapnel pushed through the curtains with Bombshell and Kickback in tow. The crowd rained a chorus of boos at the trio, who raised their hands in victory and soaked in the hate running through the crowd. Shrapnel led the way down the aisle and the trio entered the ring, anticipating the enemy.

Once again, cameras went backstage and found Addl, Galvy, and Stone Cold Skywarp lingering near the curtains, about to make their entrance. Skywarp turned to the camera and said, “This one’s for you, Seibertron! Once I beat the living hell outta that scum in the ring and take that title, I’m comin’ after you!!!” Galvy and Addl pulled Skywarp away from the camera and aimed him at the curtains as Static X’s “Machine” blasted into the arena. The trio burst into the arena, and the crowd erupted as they knew, just knew, that justice would finally be served. Skywarp ripped off his vest and rushed down the aisle, sliding under the ring and spearing Shrapnel to the mat! Skywarp rained a series of punches onto Shrapnel’s head, who covered up like an exhausted boxer. Skywarp jumped to his feet and ran the ropes, heaving himself onto Shrapnel with an elbowdrop. Sky picked up Shrapnel and pounded him into the corner with boots to the midsection, followed by an armdrag that heaved Shrapnel back into the center of the ring. The champion staggered to his feet and went for a right hand, but Sky blocked the attempt, grabbed Shrapnel by the hair and heaved him over the top rope and onto the floor!

Not one to let up, Skywarp slid to the outside and picked Shrapnel up, bouncing his head off the apron like a beach ball. When Shrapnel did not fall, Sky did it a second time, and Shrapnel slumped to the concrete floor. Well aware that he could not win the title by countout, Sky picked up Shrapnel and heaved him back inside. On his hands and knees, Shrapnel got to the ropes and pulled himself to his feet, only to be clotheslined over the ropes and out of the ring again! Shrapnel hit the concrete back-first this time and did not get up. Skywarp slid to the outside and began putting the boots to Shrapnel, and when his opponent was slow to fight back, Sky could see an opportunity to end it quickly. He walked over and picked up the top half of the steel ring steps, holding them over his head. The referee slid to the outside and got in Sky’s way, and as Sky argued with the referee, Shrapnel miraculously bounced to his feet and threw a dropkick over the ref’s shoulder, striking Skywarp square in the face! Skywarp fell, and the steel steps went with him, landing right on his head!!! The referee turned and gave Shrapnel a verbal thrashing, but Shrapnel was not worried about a disqualification. Shraps picked up Sky and heaved him headfirst into the security railing, doing more damage to Sky’s forehead, which had been busted wide open by the shot with the steps. Shrapnel heaved his opponent back inside and continued the assault, ramming Skywarp into the turnbuckle.

Shraps tossed Sky into the ropes and scored a shoulderblock, followed by a crushing elbowdrop that got a two-count. Shrapnel bounced up and heaved Sky into the ropes again, wrapping him up in a sleeperhold that he quickly changed into a front-face headlock. Losing blood rapidly, Skywarp began to fade, bit by bit. As the referee checked the exhausted challenger, Bombshell and Kickback reached into the ring and provided Shrapnel with additional leverage, much to the crowd’s chagrin. Seeing the injustice, Addl and Galvy rushed around the ring and attacked, knocking Bombshell and Kickback to the floor. A huge battle ensued on the outside, but it wasn’t enough to distract the crowd from what was going on in the ring. Skywarp was mounting a tremendous comeback, having fought the hold back to a standing headlock. Two shots to the stomach released the move, and Skywarp ran the ropes and leveled the champion with a flying clothesline! Blood spraying everywhere, Skywarp picked up Shrapnel and heaved him into a corner, beating him to the mat with a series of kicks to the chest and face!

Now that weapons were becoming involved in the war on the floor, the referee decided it was time to do something about it. As Galvy pulled a cookie sheet from underneath the ring and went after Kickback, the referee leaned through the ropes to intervene but was inadvertently nicked with Galvy’s cookie sheet! The referee fell back into the ring, dazed but not unconscious. Meanwhile, cookie sheet in hand, Galvy freed himself from the melee and climbed into the ring just as Skywarp dragged Shrapnel out into the center of the ring and set him up for the Skywarp Stunner. Galvy gestured for him to complete the move, and Skywarp did so, crushing the champion with the Skywarp Stunner!!! Just as Skywarp bounced to his feet, Galvy stepped forward and glared down at Shrapnel’s unconscious frame. Then, quick as a flash, he booted Skywarp in the stomach, dropped the cookie sheet on the mat, and nailed HIM with the Pedigree on the steel!!! As the crowd looked on in shock, Galvy turned his Triumverate teammate over and heaved Shrapnel’s lifeless body onto the challenger, then took to the aisle, mocking the crowd all the way!!! As Bombshell and Kickback double-teamed Addl on the floor to prevent any interference, the referee returned to the action just in time to count 1.....2.....3!!!! As Kickback and Bombshell hopped into the ring and helped their battered World Champion to his feet, the cameras shifted to Galvy, who stood at the apex of the entrance ramp, mocking Skywarp’s middle-finger gesture for all to see as Sky High Redemption went off the air!!!
