Happy 10th, Buffy! (In some places...)

Upon going on-line this afternoon, I found out that today, March 10th, is the 10th anniversary of the debut of Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

Well, of the first US broadcast, anyway - the first ever showing was apparently in New Zealand, on Feb. 2nd, 1997. And in the UK, I see that your anniversary isn't until 3 Jan 2008 (Sky One) or 30 December 2008 (BBC2). And actually, I personally didn't get to see the show until I believe June of '98 (or '99, even?), due to lack of access to the WB. At least I got to start with an excellent episode, "Becoming Part 2". (I didn't have regular access to the show til season five, either. At least I didn't get hooked til then, or that would have been torturous.)

Still, however long it's been around, happy the-article-on-the-main-Wikipedia-page day, BtVS! And thank you, Joss, and all involved.
