After spending an hour this afternoon listening to an ex-military bloke who sounded very much like the king talk about digital forensics, it's a bit heavy going TBH. Although reminiscent of Tom Holt.

That must be exhausting for the poor man. After an hour using the King's voice I usually have to have a little lie down.

Was only vaguely aware of Tom Holt, have now poked around a bit and he does seem to be right up my alley. Someone at a The Birthday Party afterparty the other day talked up Greg Egan in a way that got me really excited so I reckon I'll add some of his to the nascest fiction reading list for the summer.
