Post by Nevermore »

EDIT: Original source of the pic without watermark
http://groups.msn.com/rlhmnqs8dd8puj7pe ... 8619975824

He's white. Yay. teh r0XX0r.

EDIT!
1) Meister now up at HLJ:
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAK12482

The red version looks like early concept designs.

2) Remolded Smokescreen as well:

And yes, the grey parts are proto parts.

EDIT 3: Okay. This is insane.

Woah...when I read Nevermore's post, the way he worded it made me think it would look crap...but that's surprisingly nice.

I wonder if he'll have the number 4 or any of his stripes?

It looks nice from where I'm sitting. Is it just me or does this figure have ankle articulation unlike Streak and Smokescreen? If that's the case, then it'll be a lot easier to pose him.

Sideswipe

Post by Sideswipe »

I dont think its finished, and i think that they are goiing to put bit more detail into it, but its cool.....

On a side note, i have so far only seen 2 types of alternators (or basic molds). Smokescreen (classic hood-for-cest style, used on Meister, Smokescreen, Silverstreak, and hound, and the Bonnet-on-the-back-of-the-legs, on tracks, sideswipe, and dead end)

has anyone else noticed

Well duh, dude, there's only so many ways you can have a detailed, realistic car transform into a fully articulated robot without sacrifices in either mode...

Which doesn't actually make the criticism any less valid. There's only so many ways you can make a figure turn into a jet, robot and interchageable limb while keeping the price at a budget bracket. Does this make the little Aerialbots excusable from criticism?

No, the Aerialbot molds were inferior to begin with. Smokescren/Streak isn't.
