[KITBASH] Generation One : Bumblebee

Post by frenzy_rumble »

Generation 1 Bumblebee is a commissioned piece. Used a G1 Bumblebee, gave him a new head (from Universe/RTS BB) new arms and legs (gundams) and paint job. Bumblebee does not transform, but is super articulated; head on ball joint, ball jointed shoulders, hips, swivel at bicep, elbows, hands, double jointed knees.

How you've not been poached to make some of these designs official, I've no idea.

I like the wheels in the feet - inspired by the DW Figueroa model, or just common sense?

Surprised that Hasbro/Takara haven't really tried the tricked out Action Masters approach again more recently as a collector-orientated sideline; the non-transforming figures we have had have been pretty lousy by contemporary standards compared to the articulation and detail seen on Gundam figures.
