Post by Nevermore »

Unfortunately, G1 Prime is represented by that craptacular Classics two-pack Prime...
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Looks like a bit of a shelf warmer. No one has any love for the classics two pack prime. It really isn't that bad, I kind of like it.

I just might pick that up. Two Primes in one box sounds like a good deal to me.

The movie Prime looks like a knockoff.

Doesn't look good enough to be a Transformer...

Ah... 'tis a fast action battler prime, eh? I do like those guys - a definite G2 feel there. But, there are better toys coming out for this film, oh, and, of course, the Classics two-pacl Prime is one of the worst ideas in a while - but releasing him a second time beats it!

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

This doesn't look that bad. Hasbro will prob make one for Megatron using the movie and classics tank mode from the two packs, but is they make a double Starscream set i'll pick up that one.

The 2-pack Prime sucked...and this particular version of the LAM Prime looks pretty craptacular, too.

Not too impressed here either. I would have much preferred THS mold to represent the '84 Prime.

So you want to replace one sh***y truck mode by another sh***y truck mode?

Personally I think the 2-pack Prime makes the THS Convoy look like a Masterpiece...

Although much of the saving grace of THS-02 was in the pack-ins rather than the actual figure.

That's a thought. Now I would find a way to pick that up. (I couldn't bring myself to buy the Classics set, despite the groovy Megs head sculpt, simply due to the awful Prime...)

I think I might pass, but Scraplet1 will be onto this pronto, so I imagine this set will find its way into the house. He has the Classics OP vs Megs and the Prime is pretty shoddy (plus we could only get a box without the DVD - plea anyone want to copy the freebie for us, if it was worth it?)

Would not mind a Megs 2 set, or a Screamer, provided they don't just reuse any of the recently released molds - nah, they wouldn't, surely?

Pass. Was interested in picking up the Megs vs Prime set for the nes, but never got around to it. I'll probably wait until they eventually release it as a single-pack, or with a release, worth getting. Would've been on it like flies on stink, if I didn't all ready have RM OP, which is a much better incarnation of Prime.

Its not. I don't even know where my copy went to, and don't care. After watching it I had the distinct feeling that I had wasted twenty minutes of my life.

I lost the dvd without even watching it. To be honest, considering what I had heard about it, I didn't even remember having it until reading this thread. If I can dig it up I may be able to make a copy of it next week-ish.
