e-Hobby Black Megatron and Sunstorm reissues announced

Post by Nevermore »

Huh.

Black Megatron is a redeco of G1 Megatron that was first made available via e-Hobby in 2001.

Sunstorm is an orange redeco of G1 Starscream that was first made available via e-Hobby in 2003.

I guess at this point they really count as "reissues", not just as new production runs.

Both are slated for a February 2009 release.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Yarg. For a minute I'd thought these would be Classics/Henkei figs...

Megs looks good. Sunstorm is a bit hard on the eyes. I'd be tempted to paint his white parts green. He could be the official Transformer of halloween.
Sunshine and lolipops are the right of all sentient beings.

Hahaha. Awesome.

Anything that makes ludicrously overpriced novelty exclusives easier to get hold of, thereby pissing off people who spunked ludicrous amounts of cash on them = okay by me.

I got to admit, these would make far more sense as Henkei repaints, rather than G1 recolors, at this point.
