No pics yet, so the question is still whether he's gonna be identical to the "Metroplex" proto we've seen before or not.

Okay, F2F had posted an obscured image, with several people managed to touch up... It is indeed the "Metroplex" proto.

Man, I hope that's a "Heros of Cybertron" G Convoy beside him and not the full sized one ;)

Still, he looks interesting. Close to a Metro-Titan as well.... the blue makes me think of it....

good, then I wont have to buy the regular EZ version ;)

is this metallic Convoy simply meant as an extra or does it shows the size difference as it should be?

I like Megalo's bot mode, nice and articulated, alt mode and tranformation sequence otoh can be better

Ok - here's a really weird question. Reading a review of the Megalo Convoy mould (prototype) - I had a weird thought. Could this mould possibly be a left over Armada\Energon mould? The Supreme Size (along with the lack of sales of the Unicron figure) could have contributed to his no being released.

The reasons why I'm asking this:

14 minicon points - this more than any figure in the last 2 series. I think I've seen a total of 3 minicon points in Galaxy Force to this point.

Rather Simplistic transformation, reminicent of Armada.

His Force Chip feature is rather basic and cou;d have been added in at any point.

Weither he is or he isn't, it doesn't matter to me, as he's a sweet looking TF. I was just kind of wondering.....

He's not a Supreme. He's a Super (Leader).

The marked up Japanese price (5,800 Yen as compared to 5,200 Yen for Galaxy Convoy, Master Megatron and Master Galvatron) is due to the metallic EZ Collection Galaxy Convoy figure.

He's pretty big though - wonder what they'll do with him in North Am.....

So, on top of coming with his own Minicon type guy (who, as far as I can tell, doesn't have a PL point) he comes with a metallic EZ Prime? Hummm, might get the GF version of this guy.....

KeytoVectorsigma.com has put up a review of the Metroplex testshot, with comparison pics next to Galaxy Convoy/Optimus Prime
Metroplex review

he is indeed the tallest Convoy in Bot mode, the Alt mode otoh doesnt look that large compared to OP's truck mode

I'd guess it has more to do with it being a base. The stylings are still in keeping with GF as far as I can see—that overhead pose especially.

True, and he's got more articulation that anything that came out of Armada.

It just struck me as odd that he would have so many. esp since, including his, there have been 8 minicons released in Galaxy Force.....

AH well, just a thought.

Am I the only one who thinks he looks like they took spared parts from 7 different toys and bolted them all together and called it a day? The head looks completely out of place and his tranformation looks like something out of the Kama Sutra.

You know whats sad though? I have an easy fix to that figure. Give him a good number of gun turret especally for that moving base, deforestation machine of doom and we would have hell of a Metroplex homage.
