Anyone here read any Manga series?
I know there are quite a few anime fans on this board, but I was just wondering if anyone also reads the same sort of stuff?
At current I'm reading my way through Lone Wolf and Cub, Bastard!, and Love Hina. I'm also partial to picking up Gon whenever I find a new book around. I'm also thinking of starting on Battle Royal.
So what manga do any of you read?

I don't think taking a while to get through it counts as being a slow reader. I started reading it about a year ago, and just yesterday bought book 19. Let's face it, the time and money it takes to get hold of and read all 28 volumes is bound to be quite considerable. Oh, and I haven't read it yet, but yesterday I also picked up Blood: The last Vampire 2002. Its a manga sequel to the fantastic Anime.

As I mentioned in another thread:
Batman: Child of Dreams
Right now I'm reading the Nightwarriors: Darkstalker's Revenge manga (based on the Capcom video game). It's pretty good and definately better than that 4-part OVA released a few years back (or the American cartoon series, but that goes without saying).

I did mean Nightwarriors, but you've answered anyway so it don't really matter. I might have to investigate that one. The main problem is, its quite hard to just find Manga books stocked in places in England. A few places have a limited selection, and some specialist commic shops have a slightly less limited selection, but for the most part you have to find out what's out there then try to find somone who can order it specially

Well, it was a stroke of luck I found the Nightwarriors manga at my comic shop. It was filed away on a dusty shelf of old Viz manga and completely forgotten.
For things like that I suppose the best place to look is eBay, though that's pretty much the answer for everything.
