I had a big ****ing box of them... Don't think they did well, on top of TFs and Lego my parents can't have had much to spend, so it must have been cheap stuff...

EDIT: Actually going temptingly cheap on ebay... just put it in watching, Cliffy, it'll seem less tempting in the morning, you can beat this Ass Burgers thing...

Least I got a big set cheap, which'll hopefully sate the need...

Though, damn, doesn't this one look good?

Those look like Robotix parts it's holding...

Bloody hell that is a huge set... though I was slightly thrown by the photo, which looks like a window into the box...

Yeh, I thought I could make a few small robots, then get bored and not waste money buying individual robots... Bit surprised at a BIN of just £3 for something of that size, TBH. Guy seems pretty straight-talking and reasonable if a bit of a Del-boy, so let's wait and see :)

I take it as a good sign that I'm looking forward to the think rather than thinking "What the Hell have I bought now?"

Incidentally, anyone recognise this little bugger?

Looks like one of these - http://www.toyarchive.com/Convertors/MiniBots.html - but doesn't quite match... if it wasn't for £2.50 postage (something like that surely you can bung in a Jiffy) I'd be sorely tempted...

Ooooh, cheers mate, top digging!

Hmm, sadly doesn't look quite as dinky as I hoped (presuming binocular boy comes something close to a kids' pair of binoculars) :(

EDIT: If it wasn't for the cost of shipping from Italy, I'd be tempted by that lot, TBH. Always liked the look of that camera, just not realyl sure I'd want to pay double/triple shipping for the binoculars and ol' Soarer...

Set arrived today... I'll hopefully get some picklechures tomorrow if I'm not babysitting. Pretty "yay", TBH - enough to sate the curiosity, at least. Funny thing is I could remember how to do most of the robots without looking at the pictures.

I used to have some Linkit figures many years ago along with Lego Technic and K'nex models. All of them though except the Lego Technic ones were thrown out some while ago.

Now Manta Force was the Daddy. Did anyone else have to sit through that Schools prgrame where they explained how they came up with it? Product placement in the disguise of education!

On your main Linkits page the link to the audio story doesn't seem to work (though it works fine from the update page). A linkits link that doesn't work, deliberate irony?
