I must say... even though I'm still on the fence about the look of the characters, I am beyond amazed that they can indeed transform. And transform well, it would seem.

Aye. A bit young for my taste, but they hit their target audience right on the head.

All in all, as an adult collector, I'm really glad they're doing TFU/Classics 2.0, though. That's probably where the bulk of my transformers will come from, when the movie line's done.*

*I've still gotta get '08 BB, Thundercracker, Longarm (almost called him Towline :p) and Recon Barricade, with the option of Night Watch Prime or Desert Brawl, around the holidays, if they're still about. Really stoked that I finally found Leader Megs.

Looks like a playschool toy to me. Only like Voyager Prime so far from the entire line...
Few stuff in the UK to trade/sell. Measly sales thread.

Well, the bright red certainly doesn't help it's look. More subdued greens and grays will go a long way to help the toy's look out... but, yes, these are definitely the most 'kindergarten-friendly' regular line Transformers we've ever seen.

Awesome. Chunky can be good, TBH, I'll probably pick up a couple of these (I've got a couple of the Go-Bot figures too... compared nicely to the Cybertron **** I bought at the same time...).

From all the pics released at Botcon of the animated toys I have to say I'm looking forward to them a lot more than any of the movie figures or more classics. Change is not always a bad thing, and to me the new style looks awesome.
