Michael Bay wins!

Ebert could be an interesting read but suffered drastically from making his mind up about the merit of any film before he'd even seen it.

Watching Siskel and Ebert, and the eventually re-titled Ebert and Roeper, was an absolute fixture of my Saturday evenings for many, many years. While I didn't always agree with his opinions (well, as with most any critic, really), he and his program clued me in to many less-publicized films, and generally provided me - and often other family members - with an enjoyable half-hour evey weekend. Thank you, Roger.

(And apt choice for a thread title, Clay.)
