Question about 'The Authority' #21, otherwise known as 'The Monarchy'#0.

In the end of the issue, among other strange happenings, it looks like The Doctor has suddenly disappeared. I'm just wondering, was there ever a continuation of that plot?

On Continuity Pages it says that #21 occurs during #13, so it might be that The Doctor sensed a danger threatening Jenny Quantum, and teleported himself to Singapore. Then again, Jackson and Christine seem normal and are still working for UN in 'Earth Inferno', and I don't think 'The Monarchy' happens long after #21.
