is there a difference between SC-23 Hot Shot Fire and energon hotshot? because i have had e-hotshot for a while now and picked him up locally

It's the repaint that showed up on Transformers.com a while back.

Except for the usual minor color differences between Japanese and US versions of the exact same toy (and the added Energon weapon), I'd say yes, they're essentially exactly the same. The same can probably be assumed of the other Superlink Transformers and their Energon counterparts.

Dang, I like Energon Hot Shot's color scheme.

A question about SL Galvatron General - is he the large US Megatron mold or the small Japanese mold? For that matter, which size is Energon Galvatron?

sl is the smaller galvatron,a repaint of the superlink galvatron(and now the downsized megatron thats sold with the powelrinks prime 2 pack)
energon galvatron(yes,again,galvatron) is a repaint of the super sized megatron.other than the size diffrence,theres also a color diffrence(as long as hasbro doesnt change what weve seen in otfcc).sl galvy has a pink crown(like it will be on the show) and e-galvy will have the black crown.
also,sl super galvatron "general" comes with a purple cruelock energy sword

Hey, those are interesting names - "Nightscream Reverse" and "Galvatron General" (as opposed to "So-and-so Supermode", as I'd expected them to be called).

Wonder if there's a meaning behind it? Well, the new Galvatron's name is easily explained - he's the "General" (leader) of the 'Cons. But "Nightscream Reverse"? What's he reverting to?

at first i had the hope it would be nightscream revived.now if you look at the toy and you notice there are some sort of opposites in the colors it does make some sense.the maroon red becomes light red,the black wings becomes white/bright grey, and the transaculant green is now transaculant blue.

so the galvatreon general IS going to be in Energon. that kinda makes me mad. because now i have to get him, and i dont feel like getting a repaint, because i already have the energon megatron. thats one thing i hate about armada/energon, is that they repaint the toys and make it into the show. i think he looked great to begin with in the beginning of energon

im not a big fan of the mini optimus/megatron 2 pack. mainly because they would seem very small in comparison to the other energon figures.

Actually, they fit very well. Megs is slightly larger than a deluxe, and Prime is a deluxe.

The purple repaint wil be the smaller version seen in the 2 pack.

This I have no idea about . The OTFCC display cases only showed the small purple version.

Why would the small one present a problem?
