Please tell me I'm not the only one subject to a 7 WEEK delay on this one getting to my local FP?

I am getting so very p*ssed off with the 'Sorry, no sign of it yet' deal from this shop. I'd like to know if they're pulling a fast one or if there is a general delay on the shipping of Iss 4 from the suppliers?

I've not got mine yet. But that's mainly because the Moon's supply met with an unfortunate "accident" and are awaiting a second batch...

To think of it, I've not seen it in FP Cambridge yet...

If I had it would I enquire on the delay??

And yes, I know 5's out next week - or towards the end of this month in the case of that place quaintly named Forbidden Planet. I doubt I shall see either unless I unleash the denizens of Hades when I pay them a visit tomorrow.... I am SICK to the back teeth of being given the run around by them! *AAARGH*

I love Forbidden Planet! your talking about the one in NY right? from what I remember its an unusually large comic store, oh well..........

My word, I used to hang out in that very same Forbidden Planet! There was that Japanese-y guy with the glasses who looks like a Japanese-y version of the Simpson's comic book guy, only smaller and thinner.

Always used to check their sealed comics section at the back in all the white boxes for any old G2 stuff (when no-one was looking), but mostly I would go in, look for 'Concrete' stuff, get ticked off that there was only TPB stuff and get out of there.... about 3/4 hour later.

Yeah,they became wet,but I was one of the first who got the #4 issues that I ordered from the Moon with perfect conditition,because I was one of the special costumers.

As I've said to ya before ~*SD*~, that particular FP are just D***ing you around and if you do happen to get said issue from them it'll likely end up a reprint if anything this late in the game.

To heck with them, take your business elsewhere.

Yeah unfortunatly our orders got soaked in the states and by the time they got to use 90% were too damaged. We decided to re-order everything and send out the few that were okay. We ironed out the rest which did turn out to help a lot, but we knew people wanted prestine ones. Hopefully Diamond will send us the replacements soon, but it could be they are waiting for the next order to ship them with.
